Works, but quality issues
Extender works as it should, description is correct. The one I received had nicks in the finish and the bolt hole threads were poorly machined.For the price, it is acceptable.

Perfect for Crank-Forward Conversions.
This is an excellent product for converting a hybrid bike to a crank-forward transit/commuter/touring bicycle. Used with sweep handlebars and a lay-back seat post, this can put the rider into a much more efficient upright stance and greatly improve the rider's view of traffic. I have done two conversions wherein I swapped the back wheel out of a 29" hybrid with a 26" wheel to further correct the geometry.Modern front-wheel-drive movable bottom bracket bikes (e.g.: Cruzbikes) have perfect transit geometry, but not everyone can afford a $2000+ bike, so until then, converting hybrids for transit is better than using heavy crank-forward cruisers (e.g.: Electra). This riser is invaluable for that purpose.
