Goof Proof Shower GPSS-3024 Triangle Tiled Shower Seat, Easy to Install Bench for Shower Stall, 30"/24"

OUTSTANDING PRODUCT! I am extremely happy with this corner bench seat and it was completely worth the money. Took a lot of the "guessing" out of making a corner bench seat in my DIY shower project. Was easy to install over the cement board and I sealed the backside of it with silicone before tiling. MAKE SURE you reinforce your point where the seat will be attached, and also when you go to tile that you "butter" a coat of thinset over the plastic and then trowel BEFORE you start to put your tile in place, otherwise you'll have pockets where the plastic doesn't have thinset between it and the tile. Love the design of not having to guess on the slope for the bench seat.

Stumbled upon this after racking my brain on how I was going to build a small seat in the shower for my better half to put her leg up to shave. Super sturdy and efficient. Built in levels for proper drainage and only 6 screws. As easy as it gets. Bonus that it's made in the USA!!

It makes adding a corner bench to the shower easy. Looks great and very sturdy.

Third time I’ve used this product, first two times. It was a larger shower. I used it full size, this one I cut back per instructions and it worked out great. You can catch a glimpse of it in the photo. Super easy way to get a corner bench in if you’ve access to the framing of your shower, you can add more support by putting some blocking in between the studs.

Sturdy, easy to install, tile adhered well and is the perfect size for my application.

Cut this down to the 24" smaller size using my table saw. Did not splinter. Nice smooth edge when cut down. The built-in levels are excellent for installation. Please know that you will need a backer in the wall to screw this to along the chosen width of the seat. While it is a bit thicker that I would have expected or have seen shower seats in the past it did the trick just fine. It's thick material as well, not worried about it breaking. It also came with shims in case your wall is not plumb. Nice touch.

This worked out great. Contractor said it was very easy to install and tile over. You do need to support it with 2 x 4's so ensure you plan this out prior to putting up cement board.

Installed in new shower over tile, didn't want to cut tile around seat. I made sure to install a couple of 2x6's in the area I was planning on connecting it to the wall, I actually stacked them on top each other to insure I had the flexibility to lower it or raise it to the height my wife wanted it installed. I also traced out seat pattern before attaching it to the wall that made it much easier.
