It’s perfect for keeping him entertained on our outdoor adventures and just as great for those rainy days when we’re stuck inside.The set comes with a sturdy clock timer and a generous number of cards, making each game feel fresh and different every time we play. The activities are fun, creative, and easy for young kids to understand, helping them develop problem-solving and observational skills without even realizing it. Bought this for my daughter’s 5th birthday present. It has been a big hit. There is a pack of 80 cards that have indoor items on one side and outdoor items on the other side. As the weather of horrid at the moment we opted for the indoor scavenger hunt (although great to know we can change to an outdoor game in summer!)My other daughter (10) also played so it’s possible to make it suitable for a range of ages. The items range from simple, like a sock, to more tricky things like a spool of thread or ‘something that fits this shape’ or ‘something hollow’.There’s a timer to make it competitive and it’s clever to have the little bags to collect things as you go. It’s just a two player game, which is a shame as having the ability for 4 people to play would be good. That being said, I can see us using this a lot in the summer holidays as a more physical game.

This Scavenger hunt toy from Melissa and Doug has been great fun and suitable (with a little tweaking) for even our youngest child to play as part of a team. Nicely made and easy to store, an all year round, indoor and out winner (though you will want an adult to set it up so it's fair, suitable for the age range and so that you know that the items are actually available in the place you are playing.) An enjoyable game.

If you're looking for a way of your children or grandchildren or nieces and nephews making even more noise than they perhaps do normally, this is a lovely little set of musical instruments suitable for children from 3 upwards. This little set comes with a variety of musical instruments such as a triangle and tambourine but also includes more unusual instruments such as a scraper and kazoo, which definitely all appeal to children. It's definitely hours of fun although not necessarily for the adults present! Comes in a practical little tote bag so that you can take it it on holiday with you and annoy the general public too. Seriously though, a good quality product and a very reasonable price.

This is definitely the best music set we’ve come across! I live it’s made of wood and it all feels like a proper band camp style!We always say we having ‘family bad camp time’It’s great for all the family, and really brings us together it’s all very well made! It’s comes with instructions on how to use the items espy the kazoo, my only complaint is that with the kazoo being wood it’s really not nice to put in you mouth.But everything else is a pure joy!! Then once your finished with it you pop it back into the tote bag it comes in.My son favourite price is the triangle, you don’t seem to see these about now so it’s lovely having in to play withI 100% recommend this!Would also make a fantastic gift

This is another great product from Melissa and Doug. Although it's definitely a very noisy play toy it really is a well-made collection of simple instruments and it is so refreshing for them not to all be made out of plastic! It says suitable for free plus but to be honest I would say it's more than suitable for two years plus there is no real small parts and it's all very robust and well-made being made from wood. So get a handy Melissa and Doug carrier bag to put them all in so it really is a great gift idea for any musically minded little ones.
