These wrenches are effective for what they are designed to do. In my case, I had to tighten a bath spout well past where I could turn it by hand. Since any kind of standard wrench would mar the surface, I opted for these. The design is good and the execution of that design is solid. I only needed to use the larger wrench.

What arrived was even simpler than I'd imagined. It's just a sticky rubbery strap which loops around the filter, and the only trick is that the direction of wrap around the filter flips 180° for tightening and loosening. The worst you can do is get the wrong direction, and it will take about two seconds to realize your error and flip it.No socket wrench or any other tool needed. No ratchet to tighten, just pull the end of the strap until it's reasonably snug, and pull the handle enough to break the filter loose, then a second or two to loosen the strap and get it off the filter. I've only used it twice, to change a water filter, and it's probably 5-10 seconds work to use it.

This is my second pair, I have used these for over 10 years, easy to adjust and they always work. Even on the most stubborn stuck jars, condiment dispensers, screw on lidded paint containers, or for spa filter removal these have for me been vital for many projects.

I bought these to take a water filter out of my refrigerator and they worked perfect. I highly highly recommend.!! They are worth every penny.!!

Seems well made.took off round free float forend that was on really tight.lot of leverage with large wrench.no problem.good kit.
