Beautiful and well made packaging. Product seems high quality. I love it for the back and knee. I leave it in the back of my chair and turn it on a couple times per day. On the dual mode it has good heat and seems to help my lower back.Probably not the best for your neck because of the flat design but I'm sure they have other models.Pretty good product as far as I can see.

I was skeptical about the whole infrared/near-infrared therapy thing, but decided to try it just because. I'm recovering from a series of repetitive motion injuries as well as have early onset spinal arthritis. Figured hey, it couldn't hurt.But my word does it work. I use this wrap on joints flaring up with tendinitis, on my whole spine, on the muscles i've been rehabbing. When you have it turned on, it feels like a heating pad. When the session is over though the pain relief lasts much longer; or in rehab phase the muscles i've rolled and massaged, stretched and manipulated lose a lot of their tiredness.When I went looking for one of these to try, I paid attention to a small detail other brands of light therapy wraps obfuscate: the wattage of the LEDs themselves. That is what led me to the RedTonic wrap instead of a cheaper one recommended by Amazon- these LEDs are 13x stronger than most of the knock-offs available. Of course a detail like that is highly important if you expect the device to do its job; the penetration of the infrared and near-infrared light is determined by the output of the LEDs, stronger light output means more effective therapy.A few months after buying this, i did spring for a powerpack so that I wouldn't have to be plugged in to the wall to use this and while i still mainly use it while watching movies i do find it nice to be able to do things around the house.

I've been using this device for less than 2 months and overall I'm pleased with its efficacy. The red light is warming and works really well for immediate pain relief. I've used the intermittent red light for tissue healing; not sure it's done much there. The issue that I'm seeing the past couple of days is that multiple rows of lights just randomly turn off as if there is a problem with the wiring. I'm a healthcare provider and am very gentle on my equipment. This item has been used flat and also gently draped over the shoulder -- never tightly wrapped or crumpled. At this price, I definitely expected more than two months of light use before seeing signs of failure. I've had a second one in my cart for several weeks but I'm going to pass on another unit and keep shopping for something that will hopefully be more durable.

It’s portable, covers my belly or back when needed, but I’m petite. It is small, about as long as PC keyboard and 8” as described. So far the lights work. I just got this so I’m excited about using it in sections where I need pain relief and healing. The photo is when the red LED is off and the NIF lights are on, my iPhone registers it as purple but you really can’t see this with your naked eye. I use my phone as a timer and do 20mins at a time in needed areas of my body. It’s not hot, but instructions say to wait 5mins between use to another area so it cools down.

I bought one for my shoulder. Worked great. My daughter saw it and I had to buy a second one. Then my wife saw that they are useful on animals also, so I now have three. They do seem to work, so what can I say.

EDIT: 2nd unit has many rows of lights out now too. Unable to get help from Amazon to connect me to Exerscribe, bcz the Exerscribe Customer service agent did the 1st replacement order incorrectly.Now I'm having to contact the mfg, Redtonic, hoping for a full refund. There are other customers now having issues with this unit, as I see more reviews left on Amazon with concerning defects. Redtonic needs to be aware their distributor, Exerscribe, is not attending to their customers. Many of us are diabled, have health/pain issues and need therapies like this, but I'm not pleased with Amazon not being able to even give me a customer service email for Exerscribe. Unfortunately the one used previously to send my first replacement, was a no-reply email. Very disappointed.This unit worked wonderful for my various chronic pain issues such as hEDS, CRPS, Neuropathy, Fibromyalgia and pain in my multiple joints, when it worked.Infrared light therapy is my first go-to for pain control before utilizing any oral remedies. I previously 4 star because first unit had to be replaced, and they did so within 48 hrs. Now I'm having to contact mfg instead for $150+ unit.

Update: Amazon kindly helped me order a new USB to replace the broken one and gave me a credit to pay for it, however the replacement would not power the wrap in spite of having a jillion different end connectors. Not one would fit the wrap! I will be sending it back. So, the problem remains. I really like the therapy wrap, but still wish I could use it while I walk around. So the 3-star rating remains.Original review: The USB cable that was included to connect to the owner-supplied power pack arrived broken. The USB end with the electronics was not actually encased in the plastic cover. Couldn't get the pieces to fit together when I tried. So can't really say how that ambulatory feature worked. Just plugging it in to a wall outlet worked well and gave a pleasant warmth, but too soon to tell if it will have healing properties for my damaged spine of course.This feature to allow use from a power pack was the reason I bought this particular one as it's use is limited if you have to stay put for your 20 minute sessions. I hope the customer service will quickly send me a new cable that is intact and works. If so, I will happily update this review.

Great product, I use mine all the time. Wish it was still available.
