Love this mat, but when I leave it out, my cats nails poke holes in it when he walks on it. Doesn't take any pressure at all, it happens so fast. Obviously, I should pick it up but sometimes my kid gets it out and then I forget to put it back up and next thing I know there's 100 tiny holes in it from my cat :/ Not the mats fault, just a warning.I like the mat, the size is good, it's big, got enough room for me. I'm 5'5 btw. Helps my feet not slip.

Sure, it’s technically a yoga mat—but we’re not using it for downward dog. My son, for reasons only he understands, has decided that hardwood floors are more appealing than his actual bed. So, we rolled this mat out beside the bed as a compromise. It gives him a soft place to crash without a full-on mattress situation. The extra thickness makes a big difference, and the quality really surprised me—it’s held up beautifully, even with two dogs constantly trotting across it like it’s a runway. All in all, it’s become an unexpected household hero.

The mat is about an inch and a half thick, very comfortable. It’s like a fine foam so if something lays on it too long it leave indents in the mat. The mate is slip resistant I have hardwood floors and it didn’t move during my 1 hour workout. It’s also super easy to roll up and put in a small storage place. Definitely worth the price.

Love this yoga out. The thickness is perfect for restorative or deep stretch yoga. It's very comfortable even for a more intensive yoga. The color is pretty but the light purple color one and it's pretty long. Highly recommended.

I’m absolutely in love with anything made by Retrospec. I have two long boards and a skateboard and I’m delighted to now own this yoga mat. This product is not only gorgeous and soft, but it is durable and of course, easy to use. It does roll up to be quite small and the strap that it comes with is stretchy instead of hardy Velcro. I can see this last thing a long time, but I just got it so I will update if I need to if it doesn’t last as long as I think it could.The strap is packaged separately from the mat itself, and I actually reached out to customer support because I thought it was missing. It is much smaller than I was thinking, and it was tossed into the trashcan because it was in a plastic baggie and I did not even see it at first. I triple checked everywhere before emailing, but, regardless, even the team was super generous and understanding, and they were quick to answer my questions and follow up with the email… could be uncommon, but I waited near moments before I got a response! Fantastic company and I love them and anytime I need to move my body and I need a tool to help with that. I will absolutely be looking at retrospec’s products!! 🧡

I like the mat, but it didn't have a smell issue. However, it stretches, making it hard to transition properly to different poses. I can see it starting to separate a little, and I've only used it a few times since I bought it. It could be useful for minimal movement, but that's it.

This is 1/2” thick so I worried I would get the traction needed to hold poses. But it’s as effective as a thinner mat… without hard floors bothering my feet, hipbones, coccyx or wrists. Don’t know why I waited so long to trade in my old thin mat. Fast shipping!
