Just to note, the 1/4" Stainless Steel axle is not solid stock. It is a roll pin which should be sufficient but time will tell.

It was very easy to install. It is NPT. National Pipe thread. Don’t confuse that with a steel nut. Nuts have different threads. I am using it on a 47 foot flag pole with three flags. The biggest one being the American flag at a size of 6x10. So far only a 15 mile an hour wind and it rotated just fine with the change in directions.Good investment.

This was a replacement for a 20 year old flagpole truck. I bought this particular replacement, because it specifically said "Machined aluminum pulley" and showed a picture of the aluminum pulley. The part I got has a plastic pulley.This product will probably work fine, but I paid extra to get the aluminum pulley.

Well made. Imagine that! I am in a high wind area on a hill and this is working very well. Highly recommend!

Had to recut the pipe threads on the mounting. Out of pitch for usa pipe thread

It is not a 1-1/4 NPT as advertised, which is the reason why I ordered the flagpole top adapter. It is a 1 1/2 NPT , which is what I wanted in the first place. So now I have a top adapter for sale on Kijiji.
