Installed easily, I used the one with the weather shield built in, radios with a removable face plate may not be compatible, the Sony I put in barely fit and I cannot remove the faceplate but Crutchfield had already said there would be a fitment problem I just accepted the fact I would likely have to tweak things to get the radio I wanted, I also have a chrome cover over the instrument panel on my 08 street glide so that makes it hard to open the cover when latched, I just close it to the point it’s just about to latch then I can easily flip it up and any rain easily rolls down and away from radio, also if you don’t use a marine rated head unit i recommend sealing the vents on the top of the head unit for any water running down from the windshield into your fairing

I fixed it on my H.D Electra Glide 2007 and it worked perfectly and to activate handlebar you have to connect Blue and yellow of PAC to the harness.

Would give it 5 stars, but only had it installed for 1 day. So far it was simple to install, worked perfectly first time I hooked it up, no issues, no problems, no hassles! Seems to be really good quality, the flip up splash guard works fine, I just find the tab to open the splash guard is a little hard to get at and even harder while riding. Overall if the product continues to function as intended I would definitely recommend to anybody looking to install an aftermarket radio in a Touring HD and retain the handlebar controls without spending hundreds of dollars.

Fit perfectly and handlebar controls still work-good product

After all the hard work, I had to call tech support to find out the module does not work with my model of Alpine. Now I get to take my fairing all back apart to install the new module I had to purchase. This should probably be list in description.

The product had been installed and none of the wiring for the works as advertised. I spent an hour on the phone with PAC technical support which in the end did no good. They were clueless as to why it wouldn’t work! I have since bout the METRA handlebar control interface and it works great! The only downside is the METRA harness is more expensive.

This was the perfect setup for the Harley Davidson we did. The steering wheel control adapter was a breeze to install and the radio kit/harness was exactly what was needed to get the job done.

This kit is the bomb. I was a little hesitant to order based on some other reviews and that this was the "lower cost option" to make the handlebar thumb controls work on my road glide. Boy was the hesitation unfounded. This kit came with everything I needed but the radio itself and was a significantly cheaper option than any of the harley kits i saw on ebay or elsewhere. Once the fairing was off and the harness soldered together, it was plug and play. I'm so glad I got rid of the crappy harley radio and upgraded for less than it would have cost to fix it. This system does everything you need it to and for a great price to boot!
