Miwayer Keyboard Stand Extension Adapter, 2 tier Adjustable Width

I bought this for my son. It fits his keyboard well. It was pretty easy to put together and he is enjoying it very much. Now I need one for church too.

First off, the clamps that are to attach to the main stand were small in diameter and I had to use pliers to spread them. I then had to find other bolts to use for the clamps because the ones provided are now too short.Secondly, the spot welding on this wrack is very poor and one depot welled broke under the slightest stress during assembly.I used black electrician tape to support the compromised joint.Since my 2nd keyboard is very light and I am keeping both in my studio I chose not to return the second tier stand.I do not recommend buying this unit.

Now I can see the bottom keyboard screen, adjust the volume or change the sound, before I have this extension I double stack the keyboard I have to lift the top keyboard to adjust the volume but not anymore

Product is about what I expected for the price. The clamps were slightly too small to fit over the tubing that my keyboard stand is made of but I was able to open them up with a little work and a pair of pliers. One screw was missing for the extendable brace that fits between the legs but, since they are clamped on so tightly, its not an issue. Adjusting my keyboard stand to a comfortable height places the two "legs" far enough apart that my midi controller barely fits. It does fit however and the rubber covers grip the controller well enough that it doesnt feel like it will fall off.

I bought this because it was billed as a universal keyboard stand extension for round tube type stands. I have a K&N which I’ve really enjoyed over the years but the tubes were way too big for the stand that was shipped and there was no way to modify the circumference of the tube without bending it with pliers. In order to make this work I had to bend the metal clamps out to open them up and then bend the portion that holds the nut and bolt back ineards in an attempt to make it for. In the end, I did have to get longer bolts, but once I did that, the modifications came out pretty good.

A little tall but workable

Broke within a week of light playing. The “weld” connecting the two tubes together completely failed, causing my keyboard to fall from the stand. Luckily there was no damage to the keyboard. The weld is minuscule compared to the full length weld on the other part. I may try to repair it myself or get a refund. Do not buy this product, or you will risk damaging whatever you put on your stand.
