This plant shipped within 5 days of order and the plant that arrived was very healthy and dark green. Very healthy plant and I don't understand the negative reviews.

Arrived healthy and in great shape
Growing a tea plant is a first for me. As stated above it arrived healthy and strong. I have had it for several weeks and it has grown several new leaves. I am growing it to one day use the leaves but for the present and near future it is a very attractive plant with a straight vertical habit and glossy dark green leaves. I have named it "Mr. Tea!" I recommend it to anyone who likes plants and growing some of their own food.

Healthy Plants
The plants were very well packaged and they arrived in very good order. However, they were very weak and in spite of care and attention only one has survived so far - it is not strong. Time will tell! M. Jolly

Very healthy little guy!! It's taking off now too!
I was apprehensive about ordering a live plant from Amazon. However, I was pleased by the result. I waited about 2-3 months to write this to make sure it was doing well. It took a while to get going after transplanting into a pot, but then it really took off and is now growing like bigger by the day! Of course I have not had enough to drink, but when that comes, I will update this. One branch went a little crazy and is MUCH taller than the rest. I'm considering making a cutting from it to root so I can have two. Will update with news on that too of I remember. Anyway, I was happy with it! I hope you will be too!

A Nice Healthy Specimen
The media could not be loaded. I ordered this Yaupon Holly first and foremost because of the caffeine it offers. I love on a an over one hundred acre farm and I’m heavily engaged in plant diversification. I live in a 6B planting zone, so although I’m not sure that this plant will survive outdoors, I’ll try it later after my plant gets large enough for me to take some cuttings. This plant was absolutely healthy (see video). As soon as I received this plant (today), I immediately repotted it and gave it a good soaking with water before setting it under a grow light (see video). The plant is really beautiful. The only thing that I didn’t like was the labeling. Although I’m a farmer, I’m definitely not a botanist. This plant is a variety of Yaupon, but the full scientific name wasn’t included on the label (see photo).Yaupons for tea making aren’t always easy to find, so I was grateful that this plant was available. The specimen that I received was seven inches tall and quite sturdy, so it’s definitely a good value for the money.

A nice, healthy plant
The plants arrive healthy and well packaged. It’s a very, very small rooted cutting though.
