Perfect replacement pump
Worked well. Replacement pump for my Samsung washing machine. There are several good YouTube videos to help diagnose the problem as well as installation of the new pump. It is time consuming but worth it to get a few more years of use from my washing machine.

Excellent part
The media could not be loaded. My samsung washer was giving code SC. we checked the filter and it was not clogged. I took the pump out and spun it by hand. The spindle had play in it. It moved freely about 3/4 turn and stop. I applied power to it and it would spin with a weird noise. Amazone same day delivery is awesome. Received the part and the new pump has more resistance turning it by hand. I put it together and the washer is draining water again. Happy with the purchase. Fits perfectly and arrived in excellent condition.

Samsung washing machine wouldn’t drain but, it does now.
My older Samsung washing machine wouldn’t drain. It would turn on, fill up, & run through its wash cycle but when it came time to drain the water, nothing would happen, other than a hum I wasn’t use to hearing, which is never a good thing. So I went to Google in order to find out what the problem could be, which led me to ordering this part.I found a video on how to replace the part on YouTube, and got to work.Had to take off the back cover off the washing machine, and then use the main drain hose to drain out as much water into a bucket, as humanly possible. I definitely recommend because, if not drained by hand 1st, you will have a huge mess on your hands. I just lifted and lowered the drain hose a million times and let the water do its thing, & drain into a bucket. The pump was located - looking at it from the back - in the right corner in the back of machine, and pretty easily accessible, other than the tub being in the way, which you can move around just a little to give you a bit more working room, which you’ll need. After draining, had to disconnect the hoses from the pump (1st the long one that comes out of the machine & then the short one inside going to the pump - which is where the majority of the water will come from so be prepared). They’re just held on by clamps. Then unscrewed the 2 bolts securing the pump to the machine (1 on the front side and 1 on the back side).Pulled out the pump, unhooked the 2 wires, and started to take it apart from the casing it sits in - the casing was not needed with the new pump motor, nor will it fit on it. The new pump motor isn’t an exact match to the older original motor but, it is the correct part, just in case you get to that point and worry you bought the wrong part like I did at 1st. I took pictures during each step of the process to make sure I put it back together properly, which I did end up referring to. Got it back together, installed it, reconnected the hoses, and then tested…worked great, and no leaks. It’s been about a month or so and have had no problems.Satisfied with the pump motor as of now, and it saved me a couple hundred dollars at least, which is all I was looking to do.
