High quality for a low price
This speaker is amazing for the price. The bass it delivers is excellent. I would recommend this to anyone whether on a budget or not.

Cerwin Vegas do what they do and thump.
First off this wasn’t my first choice in sub to replace a blown Polk Audio home theater sub. I’m a huge fan of JL Audio since I run those in all my vehicles. But I didn’t think I needed to order two W6v2’s for an experiment. With that said the reason I choose the Vegas is my brother once had strokers and they sounded amazing so I figured I’d give these Vegas a shot. Yes I know these are car subs but honestly a sub is a sub and they only pickup the low frequencies the towers aren’t for my application. The sub enclosure powers them with a 250 watt amp on each which is plenty of power for them. So far no clipping/popping or adjusting the levels after running Denon Audyssey calibration. I think if you are looking at these you already know the brand/rep so just spend the 40 bucks and enjoy them.

Good sound must have adequate amp.
Put in ported box with 300 watt plate amp.Sounds very good for small enclosure.Seems to get better with use ?Had tried a low wattage amp sounded bad(expected).

Replacement Woofers
I purchased two of these as replacement woofers for a Samson Expedition XP-1000 speakers I used for a portable DJ system. Very good low end, if you want heavy bass from moderately small woofers (10"). They sound terrific.

Bass you not only hear but feel.
No dislikes. Replaced my pioneer subwoofer cone. Love the Cerwin Vega quality and sound which is rich, deep, tight and natural. Bargain basement price for such a great sound!

cmon...I didnt go for the top of the line CV...I only wanted to change the speaker in my Peavey 110 bass Amp. That speaker sukked....soooo the CV was indeed an immediate upgrade. ..I was sooo irritated by the by nearly EVERY aspect of the stock speaker...the CV did the trick and enjoying music again !

The speaker I was replacing was from a box kit and this speaker seemed to be an up grade with the stitching inside
