Simpson Strong-TieFB24Z FB ZMAX Galvanized Fence Rail Bracket for 2x4 (Pack of 100)

I am certainly not a carpenter or fence builder, but this product is awesome. I am able to attach the railings to the posts without "toe-nailing". The brackets seem to be very sturdy and are easy to install. They came in a cardboard box which I thought would cause damage to some of the brackets, but none were bent or damaged at all. I would recommend these brackets to any one building their own wooden fence.

Same as the ones at HD & L but almost 1/2 the price.

Buy these if building a new fence. Helps with a better sound structure. I see a lot of 2x4 getting split with just nails. These are also a good value pack.

Makes installing fence rails quick and very secure. They are $0.51ish per bracket here. $0.88 at the big box home improvement stores. Maybe a small discount if you buy 100 or more. Much better deal with this box.

Worked great on the fence I built last fall. These allowed us to mount our stockade fencing on the inside of our 4x4 posts and to center the weight on the post. Hopefully this will cut down on lean as the fence ages. I built 2 jigs for the fence build. One to help set the post to keep the distance set for the stockade panels. One to mount these brackets to the posts. The later was used for the proper height to mount each bracket and to center the bracket on each post. I ended up modifying some stockade panels a bit on length with a circular saw but the panels slid right in for the most part. I would buy them again if I had another project that required them. I think they seemed to be of good quality for the price point.

i used these brackets on my work bench every 6" OC so that i can slide 2x4 in and out to extend the top of the table. not how they were intended but would also work great for what they are supposed to do as they are pretty heavy duty
