Flavourless and sugarless - doesn't even taste salty at the recommended mix
There's no sugar, no flavourings or colourings, and no vitamin C - this is important if you're already supplementing, or have gut tolerance issues!Surprisingly, there's almost no 'salty' taste at the recommended concentration, just a slight chalkiness: I would guess that the 'salt' taste of sodium ions is mitigated by a balanced dose of potassium ions, and that some of the calcium or magnesium salts aren't very soluble.Easy to prepare - add to water and stir for 15-20 seconds, and it comes with the right scoop for a pint glass. I would recommend giving it another stir when there's a mouthful left, and gulp the lot - not all of the salts stay dissolved or suspended, so drink it as-is and let your stomach sort it out. It's sorted my issues with muscle cramps after intensive training on hot days: I have to be careful with that, and this brand of electrolyte powder is working very well for me.If you've got more serious medical issues, and you are (or should be) receiving medical advice - renal and cardiac problems especially - and also if you're taking medications, do ask the pharmacist or your GP.

Caused stomach cramps and diarrhoea
This does taste seriously disgusting, but I persevered by putting it in my bone broth. BIG mistake, I have had diarrhoea and bad stomach cramps all day since. It’s a lot of money to pay (I’m on a pension) for something I cannot use. So very disappointed.

Mixed opinions..
I'm a bit mixed on this product. If you have the recommended amount, it tastes vile but if you use half or less with some lemon juice it's tolerable. It leaves sediment at the bottom so you need to keep mixing it before consumption too. I disagree with the fishy taste as I think it tastes salty and thick. If you have tasted prime then it creates a very similar thickness to that. I do think the product works as intended and although it seems expensive, you only use a tiny amount per serving so this will last a long time.

Not really so fishy
Lots of the reviews mention how fishy this tastes. It definitely does taste different from the usual electrolytes but to me it's not fishy. It's more like mild sea water. It leaves an odd feeling in the mouth for a few seconds afterwards, like a drying effect. The taste is something to consider if you only like good-tasting, normal-tasting stuff. It's very effective, though. In the early days of keto adaptation I was getting restless legs at night, which I knew was related to mineral depletion. A does of this in a glass of water remedies this very quickly, and this leads me to believe that the ratios of electrolytes - and their availability to the body - are as the manufacture claims them to be.So: back to the taste. I'm fairly sure that it's got the right stuff in it, so presumably anything that also has the right stuff in it but tastes better is going to have some extra stuff in there just for the taste. I'd rather just have this, experience a few seconds of an odd taste and then know that I've done something good for my body.

Fishy taste.
It has the best balance of ingredients i can find, but my god, the taste makes me wretch.I've found adding some kind of stevia flavouring drops go a long way towards making it drinkable. Please work on the flavour! Even if it was just salty i could handle it

I agree it's not really fishy tasting
I agree with the review below, the drink is more salty than fishy, which may be why people get the sensation. It doesn't taste too bad to me and dissolves easily.I guess you could put some zero sugar flavouring in it.I've done a couple of 60 hour fasts drinking just this, water and back coffee and felt great and very sharp

Quality ingredients, awful fishy taste
I bought this because the amount and quality of the ingredients seemed better than anyone else’s, especially as it contains magnesium glycinate.I’m not usually one to be bothered about the taste of things like this, I just accept a bag full of salt isn’t gonna taste great. If it tasted salty I’d have been more than happy. It doesn’t taste salty at all to me. It just tastes like drinking the water that fish has been poached in. The fishy taste is utterly awful. I wish I’d have believed the reviews.I’m persevering but I think I’ll have to dilute a serving in a much smaller glass of water and just shot it down in one and then drink lots and lots of fresh water afterwards. The company really need to sort the flavour out. No other electrolytes I’ve tried have this terrible fish taste. Also as others have said, beware that one scoop is more like 6g not 3g as it says on the packet.UPDATE: I just can't stomach another serving of this. I've asked for a refund and it was processed very quickly, so kudos to the company. They say they're working on sorting out the flavour and should be releasing an improved product later this year.

Perfect zero carb electrolytes
So happy to have found this product. Zero sweetener. Just plain electrolytes. Perfect for not spiking insulin. Quite happy with the taste, very subtle "salts" taste. Great for any ibd as no gut junk fillers or stevia junk. Big thank you for this product.
