Best Unit in the Game
As a veteran 40k player and lover of the Tau playstyle, I can honestly say that the Crisis Suits are my favorite unit in all of Warhammer 40k. They are tough, inexpensive, and extremely versatile, able to combat aircraft, tanks, monstrous creatures, heavy infantry, light infantry, and hordes in or out of cover. They can move out of cover, shoot, and move back to safety before the enemy can react. The new models are, in a word, spectacular. The old Crisis Suit models were crap, which was unfortunate since they were so great to use. This kit is better made with more detail and accessories and nary a defect to be found. I am in the process of replacing all my Crisis suits with the new version.

This is the 6th edition kit, limited weapon choices
This does not come with the cyclic ion blasters or airburst frag launchers. Yes, it does have 3 crisis suits with the newish sculpts but is not the updated 8th edition version that has all of the additional new wargear. This should not be charged at the value as the new kit.

Buy a Start Collecting Tau box instead
It's still a better value to get a Start Collecting box for the XV8s than to buy this, but great models

Shipping ruined a few pieces
The kit is what it is. The crisis suit kit is pretty easy to assemble and is exactly what it says it is. My only problem was with the shipping. It's a small box that fit in a bubblewrap envelope and it was crushed. Most of the kit was fine but there were a few pieces that were broken from the sprues. The box even had holes in it where since of the sharper sprues pushed through when it was crushed. I was able to repair most of it. I had to drill a hole in one of the drives due to the peg hole being crushed shut. On another I had to snip the peg of and drill a hole because the peg had been smashed and would no longer fit the hole it was supposed to go into. A box rather than an envelope would have helped this tremendously. In addition, a few of the heads were partially dented/crushed. Thankfully I had some leftovers in my bits box.
