🔋 Power Your Possibilities!
The Active 12V PoE Splitter is a versatile power solution that allows you to connect and power non-PoE devices like IP cameras and phones using a single Ethernet cable. With a robust output of 12V and compatibility with various brands, this splitter is perfect for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Works very well for powering an outside PTZ camera. Make sure to fully weatherproof if using outside.

Does not work with Gigabit; not 802.3AT complaint or even 802.3AF compliant.
Description reads: Output Power: 12V 1-2A Full IEEE 802.3AF/AT802.3AF defines 2 modes. Mode B does not support gigabit, but Mode A does. Compliant power sending units can choose to support either or both of Mode A and Mode B.Powered Devices (such as this splitter) are required to support both modes to be considered compliant. From what I can tell, this device only supports Mode B and has ethernet pins 4,5 and 7,8 connected directly to the DC power jack and disconnected from the ethernet plug they were split from (thus preventing gigabit from working).A standards complaint device would have a transformer internally to separate the power off the data lines and then still allow data on all 4 pairs. While this device might work with some POE sending units, it is not standards compliant. When I connected it to my POE Switch, the DC jack was oscillating between no voltage and 12v. When I connected this a non-standards compliant passive POE injector (which always sends power even if plugged into a non-POE device), the slitter provided a steady 12v.While this device might work with some POE sending units, it is not standards compliant. When I connected it to my POE Switch, the DC jack was oscillating between no voltage and 12v as the switch enabled and disabled power. I cannot recommend this device.Be on the lookout for other "Type: PD3007" PoE Splitters as I believe they are all re-branded product and the same as this device. Other amazon listings for PD3007 splitters don't claim 802.3AT compliance and are up front with the lack of gigabit.
