SAMSUNG 86-Inch Class Crystal UHD TU9000 Series - 4K UHD HDR Smart TV with Alexa Built-in (UN86TU9000FXZA)

I was hesitant to buy this set because it was very cheap for an 86 inch TV (only $1697).. But I bought it anyway to replace my 70 inch living room set. When I first got it and set it up, the sharpness and overall look wasn’t what I wanted. In other words, out of the box the picture looked crummy to me. Also I didn’t like the Remote. Not enough buttons on it, but you can use just about ANY Samsung TV Remote with it. So I tried tweaking the set and got it to not only look exactly like I wanted, but it exceeded what I hoped for. Beautiful picture even when standing on top of it! Yes it has Back Lighting AND Edge lighting so it looks pretty good at just about any angle. I have an Electric Fireplace TV Stand that is only 60 inches wide. Of course it won’t fit on it with the included Legs because they are about 67 inches wide. But they can be moved together to at least 53 inches so it easily fit on my 60 inch Fireplace Stand. It can easily access your NAS and can Mirror a Windows 10 PC. It also can Mirror and/or play Videos, photos, etc. from iPhones and iOS Tablets that have Airplay 2. Also Android phones and Tablets can be mirrored. It also has Bluetooth 4.2. It comes with Alexa and Google Home built in. It has a Voice button on the Remote for using them and can control other things too. This Smart TV has tons of Apps that you can download. It’s got too many Features to mention here. I highly recommend this Television for the price I paid (about $1697) or even at its list price. You can stand right in front of the set and it’s sharp and clear (with initial tweaking). If you want a Television that will make you feel like you are in a Movie Theater, this one is really good for its price. Sure you could spend thousands more for better models, but if mainly what you want to have is a great picture, spending the extra money (maybe hundreds or thousands more) for a better TV won’t get you really that much of a better picture. A really expensive TV that has more features and says it has better Color is not that much better than this set is and is not really worth it (except for bragging rights on how expensive it is). Get this set and (with some tweaking) you will enjoy this TV immensely! The included Photo doesn’t do the TV or my Fireplace Stand justice. It looks much bigger and better in person.

I spent several hours doing my research before purchasing a UHD TV. The Samsung was rated better than all the others in it's class and price range. Yes there are other sets out there that are better, but for the money this is a great deal. Clear sharp picture easy to set up. One thing you absolutely need is a good Wi-Fi connection. Our set is installed in our "theater room" which is quite some distance from out router, because of the poor Wi-Fi we were unable to connect the set. The problem was remedied by adding a Wi-Fi extender. The set can easily handle watching sports without the screen blur you might get from sets with a slower refresh rate.

Went from a standard LED TV to this. Whoa! Watching TV, movies, etc is next level. So real it looks fake. Old movies look amazing on this thing.Things I hate about it -1) So much stuff I barely have time to figure it out.2) Remote is difficult to figure out.3) Barely fit on my wall. This is a huge 93lb television with absolutely stunning picture quality. Glorious colors, vivid detail, and more. The best I have ever seen. My wife said it was like actually being there during a scene in a familiar airport.The Art TV feature is an unexpected joy.It's super simple to setup and use.Sound quality is excellent with the built-in speakers.In my opinion, this is the best overall performer in the 86" class at any price.I run Sony 4k players, the 1100 class and the 800 too. They upscale better than the rest. Put those players on this 9000 series TV and you cannot go wrong.

The TV was fantastic as long as it worked for. Unfortunately the front screen panel went out after a few years of very little use which is unacceptable. There is a large vertcal line running up the screen. I dissassembled it and found one of the cables to the front screen to have failed. Apparently this is a common issue with samsung tvs. I do not plan on purchasing another Samsung.

It's just huge and fantastic! Downloaded, my spectrum, Disney Plus, Hbo Max and my Vudu collection.Great picture and works well with my Denon Audio. Tv was delivered in 100% condition and had Amazon hang on the wall. This will not be the best resolution, but most entertaining for the family. The remote is awful, but if that is the worse to say.

I have 7 t s in my house, this is the best for the money by far. Very clear picture, sound quality is forward directional and good quality. It has side veiwing and is not too bad on light refraction from Windows.

I usually feel Samsung is reliable. I saw this 86" and decided it was time to switch from a projector to regular TV. At $1700 at the time, I finally could afford to get something close to my 100" projector screen.This TV, however, after 3 years has several dark blotches on the screen. This is not burn in from any image. Must be dead or dying backlight LEDs. See the photo I took with a pure white screen test. These are very noticeable.For this kind of money there are other options.
