Awesome antenna
Awesome increase in mobile Internet speed. I am seeing speeds at almost 200 mbps through my inseego router. The look is clean with the carbon fiber and mounting was easy. Highly recommended!!

The answer to signal issues
I perform Cradlepoint installs for my company on remote offices (trailer offices, often in the woods away from any other option for internet), and after looking through the marketplace for something better than what we were using (Panorama Antennas), we came across Proxicast's Pro-Gain. Let me give you two examples of why this is now a mainstay in our inventory:The site is using a Cradlepoint IBR600, and was having issues with speed and connectivity (10 Mbps down, 0.1 up, spotty signal especially in bad weather). I did nothing but switch from the old Panorama antenna to this Pro-Gain antenna. Mind you, the size comparison between the two antennas is huge, so I usually mount the antennas to the trailer with a 2" x 10' high PVC pipe. The weight of these at the base is substantial (probably 2-3 pounds). JUST SWITCHING THE ANTENNA YIELDED 22 Mbps UP AND 8 Mbps DOWN. The site went from poor internet to acceptable in 30 minutes, using Proxicast cabling to connect the Cradlepoint with the Pro-Gain.Here's the reason we stock these antennas almost exclusively now: The 5G performance is incredible. I tested two of these, both on 10' masts 5 feet apart, on a Cradlepoint R1900 with a 5G Verizon SIM. I was able to get over 350 Mbps down and almost 150 Mbps up. I've never seen that kind of speed on a cellular connection, and while the R1900 is powerful enough, two of these in MIMO are the kind of solid I look for in what is truly a variant experience most of the time.Even if you have GOOD signal, I suggest one of these Pro-Gains. I recently installed a Cradlepoint AER2200-600 in a city environment, and utilized the Pro-Gain again on a 2" x 10' PVC pipe. The strength of the signal was great, and on the Verizon 25 Mbps plan, I was achieving 26-28 Mbps down and 25-26 Mbps up.

It works, when others did not
Hardware: Netgear Nighthawk MR6500Service: ATT/FirstnetDistance from towers: 12 and 13.5 milesTerrain: Dense trees, low valleyUse: Whole house hot spot, 10+ devicesThe graphics shows it all, before and after strength and speed test. The other shows the LTE coverage, naturally I would be in the white areas. (Small red dot if you can see it) Before the antenna I would receive minimal speeds and on lower bands with 3G, no 4G/LTE. Barely enough bandwidth to stream and once a ring camera started to send video to the cloud, the system would come to a halt. I was about to give up on the possibility of internet at this remote location in Maine. After desperation, I spent the money for this antenna and after connecting the antenna and literally placing it temporarily outside my signal improved greatly. I have tried to move the antenna to different locations to find the best location. Ironically the best location is close to a wall under a metal roof. I’m no cell signal expert, all I know if now I have decent internet with minimum issues. Also connecting on Band 14 consistently now versus Band 5.Short story, it worked when nothing else would. There is no chance of 5G making it to my location so I can not comment on that. Maybe in many more years from now.

Impressive size of antenna
This antenna is large and heavy. The antenna does provide a decent increase in signal strength however even with a bigger signal strength value, the router throughput dropped considerably.

Easy install
Easy to install, not sure that the signal boost is worth the money.

Signal is worse
I purchased this item after extensive research, and reviews, alas my paddle antennas bring in a faster speed than this antenna. Didn't work for me!

Great for mobile internet setup
I have this connected to a Netgear LM1200 hotspot which is then cabled to a TP Link inexpensive router for wifi connectivity all in one unit. I bought a usb power adapter for the TP link so the entire setup can be powered via usb and go in my camp trailer. I have on several occasions pulled in usable cell signal with it in places our phones said nope. I use it for home internet as well and consistently get 25 down 10 up in congested burbs. More than enough speed.

Omnidirectional greatness!
Went from LOS anntenna to this.... skeptical at first, but I should have bought this one first. No more getting on the roof during a storm to keep the anntenna in place so it doesn't turn. I have at least 5-8 devices streaming all at the same time. The only time I have a jump and kinda grainy picture is when my PS5 is downloading a large file. My wife says she's sees a better picture and also ESPN+ has a high bandwidth draw which on my LOS couldn't watch, but now I've watched 6 hockey games no problem! A++
