I am extremely fair and I've tried several shades of this powder and they all go on more light than the color it appears to be.It is also not as finely milled as the L'Oreal True Match powder.If you are looking for the powder to be your foundation - this is probably the right formula but use care when selecting the shade and if you are in between shades be sure to choose the darker of the two. I personally needed to go 2 shades darker than what I would select from other L'Oreal powder and foundation shades.I am able to use this powder as a matte highlighter on my browbone, cheeks, and just above the jawline for a sculpted look so It isn't a total waste to have the lighter color.Note that there is a white cast so if you use the product you will see some white effect in photos that are taken with a flash.I had planned to use this as a foundation but I have many fine lines and I think that a powder foundation is generally not right for me because it tends to settle into those fine lines in a couple of hours - this is a separate comment from the color and is not a complaint about the performance.This product is NOT for someone with dry skin. You probably know that but if it is your first powder foundation: please use care.The product lid is difficult to open and the packaging itself is very thick and bulky in my purse. I don't like to carry it or struggle to open it when I want to apply powder.*********Bottom Line************If you want a L'Oreal product to cover some shine - choose the True Match powder which you can also find on this site. It performs very well, is more finely milled, and the packaging is easier to open.If you want this product as a powder foundation: I recommend you choose or or two shades darker in your skin tone range (warm neutral or cool).

This is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for in a foundation. Wonderful coverage (I have red spots) Extremely light truly feels like I’m not wearing anything. And best of all this foundation does NOT enhance my wrinkles!!!!! I am a happy customer who just purchased another compact 💕

I love trying out new makeup products and I kept seeing this L'Oreal Paris Infallible Powder Foundation on TikTok. The reviews were raving and the results looked impressive so I decided to give it a try and this is my honest review.So my skin type is combination, super oily usually but can easily get dry/flakey with retinol use, sensitive, uneven tone, large pores, acne prone and acne scarring. I usually use a very light powder over my liquid foundation because powders tend to collect in my scars/pores so I was a bit nervous about this product.The price is fair, the color matched the pictures and my skin (I got true beige), the compact is good quality but I ended up swapping out the applicator for a different one (I like more of a cushioned dry flat puff and the one that comes with it is kind of like a Beauty Blender material).This applies VERY thick and a little goes a long way. Just a little bit of it is able to blur my imperfections and redness easily. The end result is similar to using a full coverage liquid foundation which is so impressive.I will say, with my skin dryness I can't really use this alone or it will really accentuate my flakiness. And with my oily skin it does cake in creases unless I use my setting spray. There is a bit of finesse to finding the perfect way to apply it and it changes for me every day depending on my current skin state. But this is a super quick and easy way to get full coverage on days where I'm in a rush.I usually apply my moisturizer, then primer, then liquid foundation, then I VERY lightly apply this on top. Or if I'm super lazy I just skip the liquid foundation and put this on a little heavier (as long as my skin isn't dry/flaking that day).If you are looking for a full coverage powder, I would HIGHLY recommend this one. I am impressed by the pigment and power of this little compact. I have purchased it multiple times now.Hope this helps!
