Perfect Condition - So far
I've been using Macs exclusively since 2001, and this is the first time I've purchased one that wasn't brand new. I was on a bit of a budget after my previous macbook pro was stolen, so I opted for a renewed Macbook Pro, because my laptop doesn't really get the same amount of use as my Mac Studio, I just use it to play around on. I read through the reviews, and the purchase seemed a little sketchy, however, I decided to buy it because the good reviews definitely outweighed the bad, and should anything go wrong, there's a somewhat generous return policy. My experience so far:The laptop was carefully packed, and included the correct charger (off brand, but I don't care about that). It booted up immediately and had the most recent version of Monterey installed. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it looked and how responsive it was - I mean, the computer is 6+ years old, I was expecting a beater. There are zero signs of wear anywhere, no scratches, no dings. The screen is bright and vibrant, the control bar works perfect. The keyboard doesn't feel quite as sturdy as my old macbook, but it's not enough to deter me from using it or make me want to leave a bad review. The battery charged to 100% in about an hour and seems to hold a charge very well. All in all, this gets 5-stars because it's worth every penny. It's a $700 Macbook pro that runs as-well-as any new mac. I know this because my wife has a 2022 Macbook Pro M1, we have a 2022 M1 Mac Mini, and my office computer is a 2022 Mac Studio. This laptop keeps up with all of them for regular use.

Faulty. Lies. False advertising
100% absolute garbage. They claim everything is in working order in the description but with every attempt to recover the computer, no command prompts work to reboot it. Nothing. Save your money and buy one new or in person. I’ve never been so disappointed in my life. The screen and keyboard has a weird white powder on it and it has dings and scratches on the perimeter of the case. Absolute let down.

pple MacBook Pro 15" Retina Core i7 2.6GHz MLH32LL/A with Touch Bar
This Mac is amazing, it came before the posted time, came with OS, oh my God is fast, all buttons work, no scratch neither on top or screen, the software updated, and so far this is a keeper for a long time. The battery Is optimal. I don't see any flaw. I am a computer technician and I have gotten inside out the laptop. I recommend it one hundred percent. You can pay with the fingerprint scanner like picture shown above.

So Far So Good
I knew that purchasing a "renewed" device would be a gamble. The purchase reviews were not necessarily confidence-boosting; however, they weren't overly off-putting, either.Suffice it to say that, for a machine produced in 2016, the purchase has been well worth it.There aren't any real physical blemishes. The laptop works just fine. The only significant issue is with the keyboard, in that several of the keys do stick, or they require extra touch pressure to work. Several of the keys have either dimly lit or overly bright backlighting. Nevertheless, these things are not deal-breakers for me. The device is not new.I am currently deployed overseas, and the company did ship to my APO.I received my laptop only two days ago.Perhaps, I will return to this review in a few weeks to provide an update.

Gamble
Great! It comes with a sticker cover thing? Its very easy to remove tho, the color underneath is the classic grey so im not too upset about it! No visible scratches underneath and it works great. I think with these types of listings its a gamble but it turned out great for me:) Battery life is pretty good too! I recommend this if you like big laptops because 15" is huge!

DONT BUY!
The quality is very bad that the bar is not working! And the keyboard types the words that I didn’t type, it happened right after three months and the seller refused to do anything about it! This is the worst experience I’ve ever had in Amazon! If the MacBook doesnt work, please DONT SELL IT! You can’t just expect the broken MacBook would work for three months and expect the customer to keep this! This is absolutely SCAM! I would expect the seller would at least fix it for me! Instead the seller just ignored all my request.

2016 not a good release year
UPDATE - A little over a year later & I want to toss it out a 10-story window. Looked at so many renewed MacBook Pros that I must've purchased the wrong one because I didn't intend to buy a 2016. Make sure to run the UPC number from the product description through Apple's site to find out the release year even if you think you already checked. Laptop hit the floor while open and keys got damaged, as in at least one key is stuck in the down position. Not sure the insurance will cover it because there's a known issue with the keys from the 2016 release. Screen and outer casing survived the fall though. Battery is progressively lasting less and less time between charges so I suspect it's still the original or a used one was installed. Bargain price isn't worth the aggravation. This is the first time I've purchased a renewed MacBook Pro. It's definitely a more affordable option when you love the Pros. It works well and I love the Touch ID. The screen was dirty though. I used electronic wipes to clean every surface and a keyboard brush to dust. I'd recommend the seller check cleanliness prior to shipping. I'm guessing a key had to be replaced because it's an odd one and not the U.S. format. It's the key to the left of the Return which should be a double and single quote. This one has a semicolon and comma. It's not a big deal to me because I type properly (no hunt and peck) and pressing that key generates the characters it needs to. I'm happy to have a MacBook Pro again! Not a Windows fan. If this purchase continues to be a good one, I will get another renewed Pro when the time comes.Update: I've had it a little over a month and one of the key caps broke already. It doesn't look like a big deal to replace them. Just don't be surprised if you have the same issue.
