Once you get the right size...
If you've read the reviews of these shorts, you've seen their sizing is all over the place, with some saying to size down, others saying to size up, and others saying to do neither.Personally choosing the latter approach by not sizing up or down resulted in a comically small waistband that couldn't even be closed enough to raise the zipper or fasten the snap. Absolutely loony.Exchanging for the next size up, though, solved everything. And now that they fit, they're fantastic. Comfortable, sturdy, well-organized, and - if you prefer snap closures over buttons - that's the icing on the cake.Great shorts...

Good shorts
I really like them. They do run small. Buy one size larger than you normally wear. Other than that, they are excellent. Very comfortable and we'll made.

Truspec=true to specifications
First of all, to those that say these shorts run small, that is 100% not true. These shorts are true to spec. If it says 40” waist, then the shorts have a 40” waist. They are not vanity sized like most clothes these days. Measure your waist to determine what size you need.Aside from that tidbit, these shorts are great. They’re durable, fit well, and have ample pockets. I know have four pair. I have not had any issues with buttons or anything else like a couple other negative reviews. From my experience, I believe those to be few and far between. These are now the only cargo shorts I buy. Give them a try if you’re looking for something decent.

aweome work shorts
these are perfect.. my husband constantly complains about his shorts being too long.. he's 6'2" and weighs about 250.. he normally wears a 44.. i did order these in a 46 but they are loose.. i am reordering more in a 44.. so they seem more true to size than others posted.. they hit him right at the knees and that's exactly how he likes them.. the pockets are great and the fabric is sturdy yet not too heavy for working in texas .. it's hot here ya'll..they look great and he says they feel great.. i'm a happy customer!!

Runs small
I've bought the 24-7 ripstop tact shorts in store before size 42 & its a perfect fit, but this one same size was smaller. Still good brand of pants & shorts.

Watch The Sizing
I like this company's shorts. In fact, I have several Tru-Spec shorts of a similar style but with more pockets. Not really needing all those pockets and hopping for a bit lighter short I ordered a pair of these in the same 34" size as my other ones. Unfortunately they were WAY too small so they went back. Guess I'll stick with the other line of Tru-Spec shorts since I really don't know if I should reorder these with a 36" or even a 38" waist and don't want to fool around with returning another order. (But thanks Amazon for making it so easy.)

Lacking durbility on snap and maybe QC
Over all, the layout of the pockets are unique and very good, they are lightweight and very comfortable. I have to ding them rather hard for a brand that is geared towards carry on the belt loops being rather small and the button, the primary means to secure the pants not being durable. Mine separated and failed while squatting to lift. Even with a belt on this is a large problem when the primary means to secure the waist of the pants fails. Upon inspection it appears to be an assembly error causing the two sections of the outer portion of the original prym 6/4bs snap to separate from not being properly peened/bent over when assembled. Notice many loose ends of threads as well. I suspect better QC could have caught and corrected these issues.
