The Body Shop Seaweed Oil-Control Gel Cream – For Combination & Oily Skin – Hydrates, Balances & Mattifies – Vegan – 1.7 oz

Really excited about this! I've been using The Body Shop Tea Tree face moisturizer which has been good for controlling oil, but I feel like this product is better at moisturizing. It's non-greasy, lightweight and makes my face feel refreshed! Goes on great under makeup and a little bit goes a long way. I may still use the Tea Tree product for my t-zone, but the Seaweed cream seems to work just as well at leaving me with day-long oil control.

I have been on the hunt for a mattifying lotion that gives just the right amount of moisture. I have acne and oily combo skin and this keeps me smooth and matte in a natural way for up to 16 hours. It even holds up in the south Florida heat and humidity, though it is winter now. I suspect in summer it will need to be reapplied more often. The only thing I wish it had was SPF! It would truly be a miracle product with SPF. I originally bought this as a night lotion but it works just as well as a daytime lotion. I plan on buying this product again when I run out.

(Im using my husbands account) I must Say, the product is great. I have an oily t zone and a few blemishes and simply wanted a good, natural, moisturizer. The only negative is the size and content amount. I aas Surprised to see how small it is and how little seems to be in the jar.

I have been experimenting with moisturizers over the past year, and this one is the one that I come back to. It's a gel, light...cooling and not greasy at all. My sensitive, reactive, oily t-zone, dry cheeked skin soaks it up. The fragrance isn't overbearing and it leaves my skin prepped for foundation or BB cream. This is a total 5 star product and I won't be buying any other moisturizer. This one is heads above the rest for my skin type.

I really must say this oil control worked for me since day one and I am very oily. I use it with the combination of the hourglass primer and my makeup looks flawless. I wish it came in a bigger size but it works. This was me 3 hrs after applying and zero oil on my face

I was really excited about this product and I really wanted it to work. I've been using it for about three weeks now and I think it's only okay. I have oily/combination skin and it didn't mattify like it claimed it would. After only like 2 hours of putting it on in the morning, my T-zone was already oily. The only upside to this product is that it has a great fresh fragrance and feels lightweight and refreshing when applied to the face.

This is hands down the best moisturizer I have ever used. I went and saw a dermatologist that recommended a cream that is oil free for my skin type. I recently began getting acne, in my mid twenties, and paired with extremely dry skin, managing it can become difficult. This is one of the only affordable oil free face moisturizers out there. I have dry skin all year round, especially in the winter. I have been using this cream for 6 months now, paired with a couple acne treatments, and my skin is not dry like it has previously been. Almost no dryness. I would definitely recommend this product for those of us with extremely dry skin that makes putting makeup on in the winter difficult!

This works for me in conjunction with another product. I have super oil skin and I dont wear makeup, so the cleaner my skin the oilier it appears. I like the lightness of this moisturizer to control my oil. I use it after I have used my toner and essence. After applying this cream I follow it up with an oil-free moisturizer from Clinique. So far I have been getting that matte finish that I have been longing for!
