Very potent! I used 3 teabags for 6 cups in a jug, but 2 teabags would be plenty. Very comforting. Reminds me of English Christmas dinner. To some it might seem 'bitter' because it's not 'sweet'.

Love Love Love this tea! Sage is an internal antiseptic. This tea helps get out the mucus in your chest during a cold or an infection. It kills the bacteria and helps you productively cough it out. Drink it hot with honey. As an antiseptic for your mouth brew and let cool then use as a gargle or mouth rinse. Natural, organic and affordable. Please note that it can be a little bitter, especially cold but its worth it. I've been buying it since Rico-la stopped making their sage cough drops about nine years ago.

Package came damaged; tea smell like parfume

I have been drinking this tea along with a green tea or other flavor (same cup, same time) and it has helped with hot flashes. Reduced hot flashes at least 75% over the last few weeks. The tea reminds me of thanksgiving dinner so midi out with another blend creates a nice taste. I usually drink 1/ day and can tell when I forget. It has helped me but everyone is different.
