JBL Club 9632 - 6” x 9” Three-way car audio speaker, Black

Used with a 12" powered sub and a BT amp for a simple beater drift car "sound system". Having only 2 speakers inside the car is never going to be the ideal audiophile situation but the sound quality and range from these speakers (even at the high volume levels required to be heard over a straight pipe exhaust) is impressive. And the build quality appears very durable.

Amazing detail from these speakers. Installed them in the front doors of my 2011 Ram 1500. The speakers came with spacers that I had to use to make them fit but it was easy to install.

Installed in rear doors of 2015 ram 1500 crew cab.Easy install.Only takes about ten minutes per door to install.I picked up some connectors so I would not have to splice into the trucks wiring. Best buy had the right connectors for around 15$.Probably could have found the connectors cheaper on amazon.This was just a speaker swap on the rears, no amplifier added.The speakers sound good and are a big improvement over the incredibly cheap stock speakers.Removing the door panel consists of removing the 5 cheap plastic screws/clips around the door panel edge. Then carefully pry up the electric window control module and unplug the harness then remove the plastic piece behind the door handle and then the large screw that is that behind plastic cover.Next remove the trim piece just above/behind door lock/latch.It is a plastic trim piece that goes from the top of door panel to the top of door.It easily just pulls loose after getting your fingers behind it.Then just pull up on the door panel and it slides up over the lock and off.I replaced the door panel retaining pieces with some much stronger ones I had but this is not necessary.Really easy install for anyone.

No issues

These sound great not necessarily a direct fit tho. All of the screws don't line up. They're held in place pretty firmly though and they smoke the factory speakers!

Great value and sound

Easy install. Bought these and another jbl pairFor an 05 grand Cherokee.6x9s in the frontdumb but yea Cherokee is setup that way. They were good for a month and one of the speakers just slightly popped lolI do have a cheap double din that doesn’t even have good EQ settings so I’ll change that out soon butTheres slight static coming from these speakers . Faint but there. Im picky. I Pay good money for some good quality speakers. It’s JBL! Didn’t expect them to sound the way they do. Bought so many jbl portable speakers and been in many factory made sound systems by themI thought i would getting a bang for my buck but these are average.
