Alternative to hepa filter
I bought this material to filter air in my residence as an alternative to a hepa filter. The popular hack is to use a furnace filter attached to a box fan. This product is cheaper and can be cut to a variety of sizes, which I have done for a small personal evaporative cooler.The filtration rating on these higher rated furnace is not as high as a hepa filter, but it’s still very good.

Since I can’t find the 3M sheets anymore…..
I decided to try this on my oscillating tower fan in the bedroom. I just opened up the sheet cut it to size and tape it to the back of the fan and it works just fine.

It said 16 ft * 2 I thought but apparently it's only 16 piece squared who would know that That's really dumb of you to put that on your site with the stuff works so far I will update

Definitely worth it for a filtering material, i used it on a box fan in my window.
Although it's not able to keep up smoking other smells and does a great job of keeping particles in and other undesirable pieces of harmful nature that are unseen in the air from blowing into the house, i placed the cloth on the back of the box and and just use a little bit of gorilla glue double sided and after a month I took it off and it was dark brown so it filtered a lot out. It blew my mind how much stuff is in the air that is blowing through the fan into my living room, this is even with an air purifier running
