Why does this hurt my nails when I apply it?

Don’t let it touch your skin, especially underneath. I’ve experienced discomfort in that area. BUT, I swear by this product for stronger nails. I’ve been using it for years and it’s twice the price if you buy it in a nail salon.

how often should you put it on?

When I first started using it I put it on 2x/week for a few weeks. Now I just put it on weekly when I re-do my nails. Also have the manicurist put it on before color whenever I go. Works well for me

what causes the burning sensation people talk about?

I have personally found it burns when you apply it on very weak and damaged nails ( after removing acrylic). Burning sensation goes away after a couple of hours. It’s a great product, only one that will harden my nails after a week. And I’ve tried most of the brands
