(March, 2024) XPS Laptop works great but my battery was bulging which is a sure sign of impending doom. I was pleasantly surprised to find this on Amazon for half the price of the OEM replacement. Was even more pleased that it came with the tools needed to open the tiny star screws! You should still use a mini plastic pry bar set to get it open. I found a video on youtube by searching "xps 9360 battery replacement" and saw the tips on screw locations (like the hidden one under the flip door panel) and to gently pull away the tape holding a cable against the battery.Whole process took about 10 minutes.As I write this I'm using my XPS watching the battery charge for the first time. If I run into any quality issues later will be sure to follow up!

I should have trusted the Amazon warning on the listing that this was an item that was returned often. The battery arrived and was an exact fit for the Dell OEM battery it was replacing. However, after replacing the battery, the laptop would not power on at all. That's unusual as all replacement batteries have at least some charge. I plugged AC charging cord in to power on laptop, and after powering on, Windows said that there was 0% charge on the battery. I left A laptop plugged in overnight and it appeared to be charging because the white charging light was on. I checked on it in the morning, and the the orange indicator light was blinking, which meant that the charging failed. I powered on the laptop and it was still 0%. Do not buy this battery. Buy it from somebody else.

One of many available PW23Y batteries. Not the cheapest nor the most expensive. I've swapped several batteries in various laptops before, but this was the first that emphasized initially discharging to 3% and recharging. I went ahead and did that (full-discharge methods are available on the interwebs).Amazon mentions that this is a 'frequently returned item'. Don't know why that might be. If it doesn't fit, the wrong battery was ordered. If the wrong battery was ordered, you probably shouldn't be changing it yourself anyway.Had this for about two months and am getting about 7 hours of non-streaming operation from an XPS-13 9360, so I'm happy with the performance. Time will tell how long it lasts, but I'll follow the discharge/recharge recommendations since they are probably optimum.

The original battery lasted 5 years and this one lasted 2 years. Since this cost less than 1/3 what dell wants for a battery, not a bad deal

This battery is about as close to OEM as you can find. The install took ~15 minutes including disassembly and reassembly for my XPS 13. Temperatures have been totally fine, and capacity is solid.

Battery was purchased to replace my dying battery of my 2017 XPS13. I purchased the battery Jan 12, 2023, and I installed it around late February. I have been using the battery itself for about 2 months, and my battery will no longer charge. The charging indicator does not turn on and it does not turn on either. The battery was good before it stopped working.

Installed in about 15 min. Everything is good and the battery report is showing good numbers. Setting the Dell Power Manager to start charge below 50% and charge up to 70%. Hoping it will last.
