Wow!! Baby Manual!
Unbelievable! This is one of the best books I have ever bought. Other parenting books tend to apply to your emotions with the words like "this is the most amazing time of your life" etc. etc. I know that. Tell me what I should do, or tell me what's normal without playing to my emotions. Other books use a lot of words for simple advices. Use clear words, give me clear and detailed instructions! This book does that. I seriously think that this book should be given to you when you have a baby, by default. If you are looking for a manual book, you found itOne minor complaint: Some people exaggerated that the print is too small to use. It's small, but it's not something that can affect your reading drastically. I would say the size of the book is close to the airport style thick and small lettered novels.

Informational Guide for New Parents
This is a great guide for new and/or expecting parents. My husband and I were able to read it while our son entered each new month. It has way more information than we needed, but provided us with a great resource through the first year of parenting.

Good book, but duplicate content if you have the bigger book.
If you have ‘Caring for Your Baby and Young Child - Birth to Age 5’, you really don’t need to buy this one. 90% of the content is exactly the SAME… just get the bigger one in better and bigger print.

Best resource
Best resource for any parent! It’s easy to follow and has so much information. Saved us a lot of calls to our pediatrician to see if something was “normal”.

Terrible cheap quality printing/edition makes it hard to refer!
Please note that this review is not about the content, but rather the terrible cheap quality printing/edition that makes it hard to read and refer. The "mass market paperback" edition is printed on terrible quality paper with small font and dense small pages that makes it impossible to lay flat and refer to something quickly. I would have no qualms with this if it had a better hardcover or other edition that one could buy. But no, this is the only paper edition.Really AAP could not spring for an additional better edition? Most parents would be willing to pay a bit more for something as important as a book about their baby.Even if you like to have a physical book, I would suggest you save your money and buy the eBook edition. At least you can then lay it flat open to a particular page and increase the font size.
