I loved them just wish they had them in a longer size
To short for my needs

Flimsy Garbage. Waste of time, waste of money, waste of space.
It is flimsy, I tried to lift just my empty crucible and the handles bent, I recommend buying PROCAST tongs which are CHEAPER then this crap. Absolute garbage for what they charge. I honestly believe it would cast me 5$ and half an hour to build these exact tongs but actually make them sturdy. Waste of time, waste of money, waste of space around my foundry. Threw them right where they belong, the scrap pile.

Look elsewhere.
I use these for removing steel from my heat treating oven. They work well enough but are on the flimsy side. For the price they should be made of thicker steel. Not really worth it.

Decent tongs
These work well enough, only complaint is the lack of grip, had to file my own stippling to create less slip.

Strong and good clamping force
Good set of tongs for light foundry use

So cheap I made my own
Are you an amateur forger? Do you seek adventure and the satisfaction of a job well done whilst exploring new things? Well then for goodness sake buy these. When they melt and molten liquid spills from your crucible you'll experience intense pain, panic and lots of missed work. You'll meet new people (at the E.R.) you'll travel to new places (the E.R.). These tongs are clearly made for very small crucibles. If you want to pick up your #5 plus you have to make your own. I've included a picture of the tongs I made of equal quality to these. Good luck and remember if you use these call your insurance provider beforehand.
