The screen is black and cannot be turned on.

Make sure the battery connector is disconnected before installing the screen. Reset the phone by pressing first volume + button first, pressing volume - button , and next long pressing the power button for at least 15 seconds until the logo appears.

2. Plugged the new screen in and it doesn't work?

When reassembling your phone, the display data cable may pop off its connector. This can result in white lines or a black screen when powering your phone back on. If that happens, simply reconnect the cable and power cycle your phone.

3. Why doesn't the touch screen function work properly?

Please turn off the phone, clean the connector on the motherboard, transfer the foam that connects to the back of the original digitizer cable connector to the new one, reconnect all cables and turn on again.

4. A red dot is displayed.

Try changing the screen paper with several solid color flash images. Adjust the settings so that the screen does not turn off. Adjust the brightness to a medium or high level, let it last for several hours, then turn off and restart.

5. Don't power up when fitted to the phone?

Mark down all the screws you remove while disassembled the screen, incorrect placement of these screws during reassembly will cause permanent damage to your Phone's logic board.
