Haven't had the opportunity to use this on anyone, and I'm glad! What I can say is that the stun gun alone makes a ton of noise so it could potentially frighten someone before you actually have to use it. It's really cool that it also has a built-in flashlight. One of the features that I'm not is super big fan of is that you have to use the toggle switch to turn it on if you're going to be using it. Me personally because I can get nervous really easy, will not think to turn the switch on before trying to use it. If there was some way to operate it without having to fiddle for the on switch that would make this absolutely perfect. Until someone is able to do that this will do. I am able to hold it in my hand without any issues and I haven't found any issues with grip. I've only had to charge it once since I've had it and I think that's pretty good. I bought this taser and pepper spray for my daughter. Because the apartment she lives in is always really busy and people hang out at the pool and etc.. She feels more comfortable and safe after I bought the taser and pepper spray. She has not needed to use it yet., but the compact is a bit small, but it does come with a bright light on the taser that she can use as a flashlight walking around the dark hallways that leads to her apartment

I haven't had occasion to use either these, but they're a nice combination for the price. Stunner has a charging light which is nice, I haven't been brave enough to try it on myself, but I trust it will do the job if needed. I carry it when walking for the occasional overly enthusiastic off-leash dog. The sound and spark should be enough to scare them off. My only criticism is the holster provided with the stunner. Do yourself a favor and drop it in the trash. The belt loop isn't sewn on very well and mine came right off. Both of these slip easily into a pocket and the flip-up safety cap on the pepper spray is a nice feature.

I purchased this set after my daughter had a scary experience on a date. This set is the perfect size to fit in your pocket without it being too noticeable. Its light weight and fits perfectly in her and my hand. I love the color and just the sound of the teaser makes you want to run. I highly recommend all girls, young women and women carry this in their purse or at least have it in their car. You never know when you might need it.

Purchased this for walking with my dog at night and I love the flashlight function. I rarely forget it when walking because the flashlight makes it more versatile than just as a protection device. Makes a loud sparky sound too and is really easy to switch to from the flashlight function (even with gloves on). Haven’t needed to use the the tazer function yet thankfully but the few times I’ve hit the button as a warning to someone nearby who was giving me the creeps it was loud and they quickly went a different way. I also like the safety pin function a lot. Lightweight and holds a charge for a long time. Not super compact though and the sparkers are pretty pointy so gets caught in my pocket sometimes, hasn’t ripped anything but definitely need to be mindful that it could.

I love this set! I needed a practical and easy access self defense tool set that I can carry in my work bag discreetly since I'm a closer, and this made me feel much better, and my coworkers loved how prepared I was since I'd sometimes walk to their cars with them after odd customers or interactions. The pepper spray especially was convenient and it's super easy access. The stun gun was painful enough to make me feel prepared as well (I like to do a 1 second test on myself so I can gauge how effective it is before an emergency comes up, not for the weak ofc)

Love the color, but most important that it works. I bought myself and daughter one. We carry it everywhere we go. Easy to carry, it sounds great and scary. Haven't had to use it yet. Built strong.

Picked this up for both my mom and myself — it’s one of those “better to have it and not need it” kind of things.
