It does what is supposed to do.
Works well. I tinted a Jean jacket deep navy blue so I needed the color to stay. Easy to use. Follow instructions.

Not sure why I seen this as a1 star
I use this to dye my work pants and it works great. If there's bad reviews for this, it must be a user error.

Fixative for sure
I highly recommend this product for keeping colors from bleeding. I dyed a synthetic wig then used the fixative and the color don't bleed!

Perfect for a few washes, but now the color is off
I really enjoyed using this product (super easy) and the initial color was excellent (the shade indicated on the bottle is what I got). The problem is that over time (with each wash) the taupe shade is becoming more and more pink. So now the pillowcase doesn't look right on my bed anymore. I'm not sure if it would have helped to only wash in cold water? I probably won't try it again.

This Is Very Easy To Use
I’m glad that using Rit Dye Fixative is very easy to use since it’s instructions are clear, concise, and completely communicate how to use it. After using as directed, the color of the dye used remains true to the expected appearance.

It works better on natural fibers than synthetic
I wish it held the dye into synthetic shirts better, other than that, it is a fine product.
