Great for Keto
If you are on a Keto diet but missing rice and already a bit bored by cauliflower rice. This is a great rice alternative. Do not mistake me it is not rice. But it is a great base for meals that include rice. I rinse it thoroughly in a sieve under the tap and then fry for a couple of mins along with what ever else i am cooking usually onions, garlic etc So far I have had fantastic results using it for paella and chinese egg fried rice. There is no smell if you rinse it first. With this find am not missing rice any more.

Deceiving! It says 'made from konjac flour' when it's not true...
This is japanese sushi rice, and konjac flour is only 3%. Texture and odour therefore normal with a slight sniff of the konjac. If you're avoiding the carbs...this is not so good.

Not for me. Smelled of fish and kind of rubbery chewy. My poor sushi.
The family liked it. And I did use more of it than I was supposed to but that was because it was impossible to spread on the fragile nori strip. But for me, it really spoiled the sushi rolls. I now have masses of it left that will never get used and were a tragic waste of money, as it comes in multi packs.

Love this rice. Perfect for keto!
This is the best alternative to low carb rice i have found...much better than Naked rice. Mixed with chilli and or egg it's tasty with a Thai curry. I love the consistency too.

Never again!
I looked at the package and couldn't even open it...il looked so jelly and watery that I totally refuse to eat it. It's a shame it is not returnable..maybe someone out there does like this kind of food. With me it goes wasted unless I find someone who might have enough courage to try them! I'm sorry for the money I've spent but there are much better alternatives out there for vegan, gluten intollerant people!

Amazing Just expensive!
This has become a staple for me since I follow a calorie & carb restricted diet. I can now make my own vegan sushi, and also I sometimes have this on its own with some seasoning instead of porridge in the morning. It’s a great product innovation.Only downsides: expensive, hard to find it in stock, and sourced from China (why can’t Konjac be grown and processed in the U.K.?).
