Bracket Pole Mount Double Arm

I use two of these for a chair mounted HOTAS setup, and it works perfectly. The tension adjustments allow for locking certain joints, while leaving others mobile. I have the front joint loose enough to allow me to move the controllers back and off to the side when they're not in use. I used some 10lb velcro strips to adhere the hotas to the tv bracket. These are a bit heavy, and they pull on the chair arms, so I used a couple small tie downs to ratchet the arms to where they won't move.I'm sure these would work great for a TV, but for my completely different purpose, they also work very well.

I recently started using Mainstage as my main live performance Keyboard rig. I needed something that would allow my laptop to be close so I am not straining my eyes to see the screen and something that would allow my laptop to be within reach in case I needed to make any tweaks. I purchased the following three (3) items to achieve what I was after. This is using the AmazonBasics Notebook Laptop Stand Arm Mount Tray instead of tray supplied with the RockJam unit. The AmazonBasics Laptop stand is constructed of heave gauge steel and is rock solid. I did not care for the included RockJam tray. It was too flimsy and I did not have any confidence in it. The computer (2017 MacBook Pro) is very stable at the maximum extended height and does not demonstrate any concerns of tipping over.My favorite piece is the Bracket Pole Mount Double Arm by Pro Signal. The clamp is designed to mount on a pole with a minimum diameter of 1-3/8 inches. The RockJam telescoping pole has an outside diameter of 1 inches. Too small for the Bracket Pole Mount Double Arm. So I used industrial grade heat shrink that has resin built into the heatshrink to keep water and moisture out (Electrical application Heatshrink). I applied two (2) layers of this heatshrink and the Pole mount clamp fit very snug to this and holds its position without sliding.Hope this helps someone!

*Original Review*: I can’t understand the great reviews. this won’t even hold a 12# monitor in place. the articulating arms are much to loose to even support its weight. I have been trying to remove the plastic caps to tighten them up but have been unsuccessful so far. I’ll try a cut-off wheel next. Skip this...*Updated 21-Jul-2020*: I figured out how to remove the end caps easily and I was able to tighten the nut. Now it works very well.You remove the end caps by gently gripping the edge with pliers and twisting it off. It is that simple. Behind the plastic caps are a bolt and nut. The bolt is a 17mm and the nut is a 14mm. I have included a picture that may help others with theirs.I will revise my star rating to 4.

For anyone trying to mount a TV from a pole, this is it! I have a pole framed canopy bed from Crate and Barrel and wondered how I could mount a tv from it. I've seen TV's mounted from big thick wood canopy frames before like they were wall mounted cause wood is thick, but from a pole????? I had to see if there was a mount out there to make my dreams come true. After having been quoted like $350 to make this happen, I said heck no. I'll look on Amazon. THIS WAS IT! And what I loved most about putting this together is that it was so easy. I created a harder situation in my mind regarding pulling this together, but it was easy peasy. The mount is very strong and durable. Before putting it on to the canopy, I taped industrial strength Velcro around the placement spot on the pole and then screwed the bracket around that and everything locked tight and in place. My TV is only 8 pounds and I think this mount can hold up to at least 25 or 30 pounds worth of TV. Yes...this is one of my prouder Amazon purchases

Thought I'd let my husband install but once I got it out the box I knew I could do it myself. Super easy to install. I was very pleased with the solid sturdiness and flexibility of this bracket. Installed on our rod iron bed post it was exactly what I wanted, has some length to it so it extends out about a 14" over the foot of bed. I would buy this again.

I'm sure many people looking at this are actually looking for something to mount a monitor on.Do it. HOLY S*** DO IT.I did NOT buy this looking for a monitor mount. I bought these intending full-well to modify them to accept a Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS Throttle and Flight-stick, and they DO NOT DISAPPOINT.Tighten these bad-boys down at all the joints and you have a SOLID Semi-Permanent solution to turning your office chair into a cockpit.I'm so utterly impressed by these things that I can't think of a negative thing to say.- They hold over 20LBS of Steel-plated Throttle assembly in place- They're articulated, and with the right adjustments, they'll stay in place in flight .. and swing out of the way behind your chair when you're done.- THEY. HAVE. F***ING. CABLE. MANAGEMENT.NO .. SERIOUSLY .. THAT IS SO UNBELIEVABLY F***ING COOL.

None of the HOTAS chair mounts support Aeron chairs, so someone mentioned using this HOTAS mount for just that purpose and I dare say it works quite well.I have the remastered chair and was able to mount this just below the piston lever. Be sure to check and recheck that its not under unintentional tension before tightening it all up though!
