Great for van insulating.
Used these to stick foam board to the bare metal walls of my van. Filled the gaps with havelock wool, and topped it all off with a layer of reflectix and then my wood paneling. They hold the foam to the wall perfectly. No squeaking or anything. I used flush cut channel locks to trim the excess down to the retaining washers.

yes works well

The adhesive is bad
These initially worked well. I cleaned the surface and used alcohol to make sure there was no residual on the metal. 8 out of 10 of them have failed after a few weeks.Horrible.

Insulating an Ice Shack
These worked great holding 1" foam insulation overhead to insulate our ice shack. Only drawback is that I didn't need 100, which was the minimum amount to get.

Dosent stick!
Extremely poor quality adhesive. Even on smooth clean fiberglass panels only holding half inch foamboard almost all the pins came loose over night. I can't see these being useful for any application. Save yourself some frustration and go with the "glue on" ones

Poor adheasive
At first, they seemed to work well. But unfortunately, the hangers fell off days later.

doesn't work as advertised
I used these hangers to attach 1" styrofoam panels to a ceiling. After 24 hours the panels came down as the adhesive is not strong at all. Don't waste time and labor on these

Adhesive does not deal with temperature changes
Used these to install polyiso insulation in my van. the adhesive initially sticks well, however with increased heat, they pull away from the surface.
