I like to make my own butter and like the old fashioned way of keeping it in one of these. I've had mine for about a year now. I don't use it all the time, but when I do, it is handy. I find that if I know I'm not going to be using butter for a few days, i can still put this in the refrigerator to keep the butter fresh longer. But then I have to remember to take it out several hours before I need to use the butter again. One thing I might suggest to the manufacturer is to bevel or taper the edges of the lid so it stays centered. Mine often slides just off center and looks a little weird when it does.

I love having soft butter available at any given time. My family will go through a stick about every/every other day.

I was gifted one of these years ago. It got well used, and eventually sad. I retired it, but kept it, sentimental… you know the routine. Looking. Searching. Almost gave up hope, and tah-dah! Here it is! Super happy. They keep each other company in the drawer when I’m not using the new one. Yay. Easy to use. Size is just what I expected. Color is right on. Easy to clean. And the two of them get along just fine, no fighting.
