I've had the hose for a year now which was stored over winter in a shed.I've had no issues with leakage so far. The hose is lightweight and very easy to handle and when pressurised before use, any kinks come out very easily. More so than when using a traditional hosepipe.It is much easier to coil up when storing for example.The outer material does fray slightly when dragged across the patio / blocks but hasn't come anywhere near to wearing away to the enclosed pipe.

Product arrived on time, no assembly needed as all the bits were attached.Have purchased a few other expanding hose pipes before but they maybe only last a summer if lucky. The quality of this is far superior and is accurate to the length stated (previous purchases were 10ft off the claimed length)Not really a negative point, but it is quite heavy, but wouldn’t let that put you off from buying. Own several hozelock products and the quality is always very good!UPDATELess than a year after buying it, it has developed a leak! Stored it in a tote in the garage over winter, and used it for the first time this year, and it has a puncture! Hozelock redirected me to Amazon as it had been less than a year, and Amazon customer service was first class and issued a refund. Won’t buy another expandable hose as even with this Tuffhoze, it hasn’t lasted a year, even with careful storage, and only ever used in the garden over grass (as opposed to a driveway or dragged over gravel etc!)

Good sturdy hose but it would need some protection if using around flagstones/concrete. I have to lift it as opposed to drag it behind me. The fabric outer coat could easily fray.

Waste of money burst after around 3 months

Having purchased the more economical expandable hoses previously it has been a false economy. This product, whilst a little heavier, is of outstanding quality. The push-fit connections are strong and well made, and less prone to snapping. Capable of 40bar pressure, it is also unlikely to burst. A friend recommended and did have one burst. However, the manufacturer once getting a copy of the receipt and photo proof the damaged hose had been destroyed, sent a brand new replacement immediately. The 30 year guarantee speaks for how good the manufacturer rates the quality and honours the guarantee as stated.
