Expensive but delicious!
I was having trouble locating candied fruit for our traditional Italian Christmas baking. Found these online. Pricey but perfect, and so much better than what we had bought previous years at the grocery store. Well worth it. Fresh and delicious !

Great for Fruitcake cookies
Ordered these for my wife so she could prepare us some fruitcake cookies for the holidays. She is quite happy with the mix, and the cookies she made are excellent. The mix blended well and they do add considerable favor the the cookie mix.

Nice variety and size for baking.
I bake quite a lot of fruit breads that call for the mixed fruit and find this just the right size and mixes in well with the dough. The container seals well after being opened. I would recommend to every one who uses this mix when baking.

This candied fruit arrived quickly and you can tell it has not been sitting around waiting to be "in season". It is bright and not hard. It made delicious cookies. It is a little pricey but if you need it for a recipe there is no substitute.

Disappointing
I have been buying Paradise brand fruit mix and pineapple/cherry mix for several years to make my homemade mincemeat, Christmas puddings and Christmas cakes. The quality isn't as good as back home in the UK, but it's far superior to this 'Special Mello' brand.The peel is hard and very chewy, and there's an unpleasant chemical whiff.The red cherries are hard, but the green ones are slushy.I can't recommend this brand's candied fruit products - I thought I was paying extra for better quality but I won't be buying them again!
