SUPER lightweight, easy to use & mix, get extra gloves, iso alcohol, & extra woodepox for lg repair
This is THE BEST product!!! I used it to repair some wood rot on a picture window that I was told the entire window needed to be replaced. Both the liquid hardener, and woodepox parts are super easy to mix. You will most likely need extra gloves (I used nitrile, I didn't like the gloves provided, too lg/loosefor my hands). Most definitely smooth out what has been put in the repair spot with isopropyl alcohol. It does a beautiful job of smoothing everything out and sort of meshing it to the existing framework so less sanding is needed. This product is SUPER light weight so is an excellent option for garage door repairs, in comparison to BONDO which can be heavy. This particular kit 24oz wood restoration kit, comes with 6oz of each part. PLENTY, more than enough of the liquid wood hardener parts, and not nearly enough of the woodepox parts, so I had to buy extra of those. So the ratio of wood hardener to wood replacement is WAY off, I only used 2 oz each of the wood hardener for 3 areas of wood rot and all of the woodepox plus about an ounce more from an additional set of woodepox only.Since I ran out of the woodepox, I was concerned that adding more to what had been done one day would not stick, but there does not seem to be a problem.Wood rot can be very deceiving in how big or deep a job it is. My repair appeared to be small, but went deep into the window so required extra woodepox. Best the have an idea of how large a repair area you have and have enough of the woodepox prior to starting.

Effective in addressing rot in outdoor wood furniture.
Great product. I used it to repair wood rot that occurred on a teak adirondack chair. This material was easy to use, and solidified the deteriorated wood.

Best product on the market for wood rot repair
Not much you can do to protect decorative wood such as planters or shelves when they are exposed to the elements but once we realized we had a problem I used this and it totally fixed the rotted area. Expensive, but worth every penny. Easy to use.

Works but expensive for what it is
I really like this stuff better than bondo and I understand that it lasts much longer too. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive.

Was able to fix a window sash .
I used it to fix the rotten wood on the bottom of a window sash. Cut out most of the rotten area, then coated what was left of the outside of the bottom of the sash. Then used the 2 part putty to create a smooth even are to be able to add wood to replace what was missing from the sash. Then glued and clamped a new piece of wood to replace what was missing. Then used the 2 part putty to fill in the voids. Worked great.

easy to use
shapes and molds very easily to fill low areas/holes. Sands smooth and takes paint well.

Received someone else's return, opened and used.
When i received the shipment it looked as if someone had cut the seal on the top and the bottom of the box opened it and used some of the filler. This appears to be someone else's return that was just shipped right out to me. Unacceptable!

Doesn't dry/harden
I used the liquid epoxy on some of the cracks and a couple insect damage spots on the logs of our log home. 12 hours later, in 65 degree average weather, all of the spots are tacky. I expected it to be tacky for 3 to 6 hours at this temperature but not more than 12.The putty is easy to work with and hardened in 12 hours. It sands well but doesn't look great with wood stain. Would be adequate for painted areas.
