Best fun that I have had with my son. We couldn't wait for the sun to go down, so we could play with this light up hoop. It's easy to put up, as you just zip tie it to your hoop, but batteries in the control box, and you get a light display of any color scheme you can imagine. This does have a remote control where you can change the color scheme or you can put it on a loop which will go through a range of different colors. My son and I can't get enough of it. It's so fun to play in the dark along with his light up basketball. Every year we give our neighbors a Christmas gift, and this past Christmas we went with a family games theme. For their high school/college aged grandsons, who spend several days with them over the holidays, we gave them one a set of these hoop lights, as well as a light up basketball, a sports ball pump, and a variety of snacks in a gift basket for them. I didn't hear any complaints, which my neighbors would have mentioned had they encountered any problems, so that means the boys enjoyed their gifts.

What to get my 12-yr-old grandson for Christmas?? This was perfect. He loves shooting baskets, and it was perfect for winter because it gets dark so early.

My kids love to play basketball but would get sad when it got dark. This was the perfect solution. It is very easy to install. The provide zip ties and I was able to do it by myself. The battery back is waterproof and I was able to use the provided tape to stick it to the back of the back board. You can barely tell the lights are on the rim during the day but it’s very bright at night! The kids love to use the remote to change the colors of the lights. The lights are in a clear tube so they are protected from the elements. The color is bright enough for them to play with little outdoor lighting. So much easier than having to install another light. We would definitely purchase again!

The product shipped quickly and installed easily, but I am concerned about the quality of the build. There was an open gap where the wires entered the battery compartment that would have allowed rain Inside, which would’ve damaged the components. Fortunately, I saw it before it rained and was able to use silicone to seal the hole. It’s unfortunate this was not done by the company. It lights up well and I hope it lasts.

Perfect size for a regulation hoop. Easy to attach and looks great! My son has enjoyed practicing at night. Seems to hold up well but it’s only been a few days so far. Very bright and easy to see.

Would give zero reviews if possible. Only used a few months, the battery pack filled with water and now the lights do not work. Terrible product, I even placed the battery pack in a way that water wouldn’t flow in easily and it still ruined. Too late to request refund so $25 wasted
