Simple cheap and effective
I love this little tool. I looked at all the fancy hydraulic and manual-lever splitters, and thought nah let me just get this little wedge for now. I just wanted an alternative to starting with an axe strike and then using a sledge hammer on the back of the axe head. Well this little splitting wedge did the trick. All I have to do is tap it a little with the sledge hammer to bite into the wood enough to stick, and then just a mild strike with the sledge hammer sends it right into the log, and maybe just one more strike splits the log right in twain! If a log cannot be balanced on its end, I've even used it on the side of the log to split it. The little tool that could.

Precisely as Advertised, Competitive Price
It's a metal wedge. I split a couple of 10' lengths of 22" hickory with these suckers and my other wedges. It works just as well as the other wedges, because it too is a wedge.

Unsharpened
Decent quality, but you will need to sharpen the edge if you expect to use it as a starter wedge!

Splitting super large cuts of wood
Works like I thought it would

Haven’t broken one yet
These will last forever unlike the orange plastic ones. I painted mine orange, black is too easy to lose in the woods.

Will probably need 3
If you're doing large stumps, you'll need at least three. We have two and while you can work them and move them, if you drive them too far you'll get stuck with anything over 2 ft. wide.

Not the same as picture with the guy splitting the wood
The picture online shows a different wedge Online it shows it flares out towards the thicker part the one I got is smooth no flares different then photo

Works well, very strong.
Very solid, I don't think you could ever wear it out. I have really whacked it with an 8 lb maul. I like it enough to buy another one. You need smaller wedges to start with sometimes to spread the split, otherwise it tends to pop out. I bought plastic wedges for that purpose.
