Allows a motorcycle GPS to be used in a car
I have a Zumo XT GPS which mounts on my motorcycle. This mount kit includes the cigarette lighter plug and suction cup. On the motorcycle the 12 volts is supplied through the mount - this mount for cars however requires using the mini usb tap on the back of the GPS. Clean the windshield first then place a small amount of Windex on the suction cup for a long lasting installation. This is a little pricey for what is included though.

Zumo XT2 Car Conversion Set Up!
Decent build quality although it is a bit thin. Fairly stable. The connection to the back of my Zumo could be more secure though. It just seems to release far too easily while “securing” my $700 GPS unit. Over priced for what you get. But because it allows me to use my motorbike GPS in my car I think this is just a no brainer, especially for those of us with antiquated in-dash GPS systems.A helpful purchase.

Factory mount
I just got this today but since I already know how to assemble it. Which I did and everything was fine.

Electrical connection incorrect for XT2
Though it is functional, it is NOT the correct fitment for the XT2. Electrical connection doe not work for XT2.
