I have never written a review and I am a long time, very frequent buyer of items from Amazon. This is the worst $100 I have ever spent. I did see the previous warnings of shoddy packaging and damage and did not heed the warnings of other bad reviews for this. Do not make my mistake!!! Woefully packaged to withstand the horribly insufficient production. To ship this in such a manner, i.e., the way the manufacture did is grossly negligent and borderline fraudulent! This was for the 36 x 48. Several broken frames and a badly torn corner. I could not be more disgusted...it's a shame I had to rate one star!

I got this as a gift for my sister, and I thought it was perfect since she (and I too) love Lord of the Rings. So, here are my thoughts. The print quality is somewhat poor. It looks good from a distance but if you go a little closer you can see how blurry it is really. Not sure if it’s only for mine, but the upper portion of the print has a triple image as if somebody moved the canvas while it was printing. The wood they used it very cheap and the frame feels very weak and bends a good bit. The canvas is stapled on and you might get a copy where the canvas isn’t straight (mine was straight so that’s something). You probably would be better off going to a store, making a print of a high resolution image found on google in any size you want, and then nailing together a few strips of wood to attach the canvas print to, or you could just hang the canvas over a wall. For what you get and what you pay for, I’d say this is way more expensive than what it should be and it’s not worth the $45 I spent. Still a good gift idea that would be better executed and cheaper if you made it yourself.

Print quality is crap, the entire map is blurry. It looks ok if you're six feet away but they close and it's mostly illegible. Really disappointed with this for the cost. It looks like a .jpg stretched out being it's original size creation. Would not recommend.

This was supposed to be a birthday present for the Tolkien nerd in our household. The print quality was okay, but not what was expected; it was rather pixelated/fuzzy, but okay from afar. The frame was broken, making the entire canvas sag; this was due to the poor wrapping for shipping (a cardboard box cut to cover both sides and a lot of tape to tie them together). Way too overpriced for such poor quality and presentation. I would not buy again or recommend to others.

My spouse and I are LOTR fans and looked at several Middle Earth maps before landing on this one. We purchased this one for the dimensions and the pretty good reviews. I added a photo of it next to our canvas painting that is 30x40 (the same dimensions as what we were supposed to get). It was shipped in two pieces of cardboard wrapped in tape that was partially opened when we received it. The dimensions are NOT 30x40 as advertised. They’re 29x39 which did matter to us. Also, the wooden frame isn’t symmetrical so it hung at a really noticeable slant. We decided to keep it because I was able to adjust the mounting hardware and add weight on one side to get it to hang straight. Otherwise, we would definitely have returned it. This is WAY too overpriced for the quality and I wouldn’t give this as a gift or recommend it to anyone who wasn’t ok with having to fix it. Mainly, the dimensions being off and other issues, for the price is why I’m giving it 2 stars. I always read reviews so hope this is helpful.

From afar this looks okay, but up close it's pretty blurry & grainy and overall it feels cheap and not worth anywhere near what we paid for it. The frame is thin & bent up, so 3 corners sit flush against the wall, but the bottom right corner sits over an inch off the wall which is ridiculous for a $100 canvas. I've just ordered some strips to hopefully stick that corner against the wall, but I shouldn't need to do that. The box it arrived in left the Canvas print all exposed all along the top of the box, so the packaging is terrible. I would not recommend this, especially considering the price.

The canvas print itself is really nice - I would have been wholly happy were it not for the poor resolution. I got the 12"x18" print, and it still looked like a computer image blown up too large. It looks fine from a distance, but if you have any interest in reading smaller location names, you'll be out of luck, sadly.

The picture printed on vinyl was mounted crooked to the frame. The frame was broken but that might have happened in shipping
