I'm getting back into nylon string guitar. I have a cheap classical that had broken strings so decided to give these a try.If you play steel string guitar as your main instrument, go for a high tension set. They're very easy to play and if you have strength built up from steel strings, these won't present any problems. In fact, I've needed to develop a lighter touch with both hands to keep things in control.These sound great. The bass strings resonate well and the three "nylgut" strings feel good and have a sweet top end. Overall I find them to be very balanced and pleasing to the ear. I've got no issues with these, but I'm also a novice nylon string player. I've grown my right hand fingernails a bit and I'm working on my classical right hand techniques.

Loved these strings for years. Great balance of tone, quality and price.Be aware: After 40 years of string experience, these will take up to 7 days to finish stretching in and hold their tune, and that's including pre-stretch as they are tuned up the first time.I still keep buying them though, so it's worth it.

These are my go-to classical guitar strings for clarity and durability. They sound excellent for several months between necessary string changes. I don't perform anymore so just the occasional enjoyment at home is all I need. So good sound for a decent amount of time is important.
