Levy's Leathers (M4WP-001)

First off - this is an expensive strap. In my 40 years of playing bass, I don't think I've ever spent half this much on a strap. BUT, I think this one is worth every penny. Let's talk about comfort. This strap is wide and has super-soft leather/padding on the back. So nice. And if we talk about looks, well this thing is gorgeous. The embossing is a feast for the eyes. As for quality, it's no less than top-notch. The stitching and finish is superb, and it's evident that no short-cut has been taken in the construction. My original plan was to only use this on gigs and use my old strap for rehearsals. But it's such a comfortable, high-quality strap that I'm pretty sure I could use it 100% of the time, and it will still be the last strap I'll ever purchase. Definitely worth the money.

This is a really good and comfortable strap. The extra width makes a big difference.

I wanted a wider guitar strap and came across this one. It has beautiful embossing, a 3" wide strap, and looks great when wearing it. The craftmanship of this leather strap is impeccable and oh, that glorious smell of real leather!

It has that leather smell, it feels so soft on the bottom side and so smooth and beautiful on the upper side. It matches my guitars look perfect and I couldn't be happier! Levi's have my trust as a high quality leather strap maker, and I have already bought another one.Going forward I will fit all my guitars with Levi straps! Don't skimp on your strap guys! It makes a world of difference.

Thank you, Amazon, not surprised.The missing star is at the Levy' shipping department or QC?This is my second 3" strap, the first is all black with white stitching, attractive (a bit plain as I wanted) and as advertised-Fantastic! This second strap is close. The leather embossing is very well done, it's very comfortable, and it's attractive (if you look at such things from a distance. I do.). the strap has a backing (foam like) for comfort which allows the seen leather, front, bend or recess in where I expect it to stand or fall straight, which makes it look frumpy. Also, advertised in add, there is supposed to be some orange or as I assessed, autumn coloration. A big deal...no, but I thought it would complement the Dark Burst on my Les Paul. Disappointing, but, it feels so comfortable.So, Having said all that. Buy Levy, you won't be disappointed (at least not in a big way) they make a great product, and I feel certain my minor complaint is a rare occurrence.p.s.If I didn't like the product so well, I would have deducted a second star.pps.I guess that makes me a fan.

Amazon says in their description that the strap is adjustable up to 56 inches which it is actually 54 inches. Levy states the length as 54 inches on their web site. I misstated; the strap is actually 52 inches. The length was not a problem for me, it is perfect. If you need a longer strap buy the extender. The quality is the best have seen for the price and I am going to buy another one. Brand new the strap is a little stiff, but I expected this being leather. The great thing is it gets softer over time. I play between 5 to 10 hours a week, so it is now comfortable and wearing in fast. If you want to use a quick release system, be aware that the strap is thick and not every system will work. The ones I have will not work so I had to purchase new ones.

I am pleased by the beautiful quality, even though it was not an inexpensive item, the craft and detail work on this strap is impressive. Does this company make belts? You just don't see quality like this anymore!! Anyway I bought this as a gift for my husband and he was very surprised and happy, first by the smell of the leather, then the color and design ( I got the teal), then by the utility and comfort of it. He used it right away and loved the padded comfort. Highly recommend this for the favorite guitar player in your life!!
