Michellin Super Sport 255/30/19 (Front) 295/35/19 (Rear)
Sometimes you get what you pay for "Value for the money" ... That phrase rings true with the Michelin Super Sport 255/35/19 which I ran in the front of my 2016 E63 AMG-S with Renntech Tune pushing the top speed past 190 MPH on the Phoenix, AZ molten hot summer asphalt! The tires lasted one full summer and a half which is comparable to 3-4 Quality driving filled summers in normal climate areas... My alignment did not allow a negative camber adjustment so I may have been able to get 2 AZ summers out of these verry soft and sticky tires but I am very happy with the 16 months I received from them... I have added Camber bolts to my front control arms and now the alignment is set for maximum front tire grip and even tire wear for a reduced noise level and peak handling performance. I am currently running P-Zeros in the front and my alignment is set up far better than when I ran the Michelin Super Sport tires and already the summer heat has them warn down to 4/32nds tread even across the fronts and and the more they wear the noisier they get; however performance seems to be holding almost par with the super sport and surprisingly the cost was about 30% less than the Super Sports... All in all the Michelin Pilot Super Sport may be the best all around ultra high performance summer tire that you can get for $300-$400 a pop and checks every box and last surprisingly long considering they are made for one summer of heavy racing / spirited driving and would be a good fit on a Cadillac 4 door sedan or a Corvette Z-06 to a Mercedes AMG GT.... Quiet and surprisingly soft comfortable ride with incredible grip and high speed performance that was built to last.
