Solidly built. Made in USA.
I like the product. The only problem I had was when I received an email stating that I will receive my product on a certain day only to find out that it wasn't true. I received it two days later. I had no problem with waiting for shipment in days just don't promise such and such date and not fulfill it.

Finally! The right tool for the job I do! I wish my coworkers would replace the dead bulb in their heads and get a clue,.. Or quit being cheap asses!

Good choice, But you just need to learn how to use them .
Have the #87 pair and really like them so I bought this smaller size also, Quality seems fine, just needed to learn how to release the lock, but no issue now. These seem a lot stronger than many of the multiple pair kits in this size range. I work mostly out of Aerial lifts and space is limited, so its nice to be able to have a compact tool that is universal for different rings in this sizes.

If you do enough driveline work, you know how frustrating it is to work with cheaply made snap ring plier. This one is a must for those who would like to work efficiently with less effort. Ratcheting keeps the ring open or closed so you can focus on pulling or pushing the snap ring into or out of places rather than trying to hold the snap ring AND position it. I like it. Wish it came with a case for the small parts!

These pliers are too delicate to be of any use.
You know how you get those snap rings that just don't want to release and the pliers keep popping out of the holes? Well if these pop out of the holes when there's tension on the pins, it breaks the reversing switch assembly. I've had multiples of this model and the switching mechanism failed in every single one of them after a couple hours of use. What good is a tool that can't stand up to the job for which it was designed? I'll never buy another Lang product as long as I live.Side note: the interchangeable pins seem like a nice feature, but if you have different sizes of snap rings, you will constantly be changing the pins and it gets to be a major annoyance. I'd much prefer a set of snap ring pliers with various sizes.
