Except for some discoloration at the avocado's surface, I was able to use most of it two days later.

for a smaller avocado
This avocado saver is okay, but not great. It holds a smallish avocado half. Also, it's a bit difficult to open. The avocado still gets brown, just a not quite so fast.

Doesn’t do the job for me
I eat only 1/4 of an avocado at a time and anything more than one half doesn’t fit. It’s a garage sale item, I guess.
