While the lightest shade is still a tiny bit too dark and pigmented for my very fair skin, I am very impressed with this concealer. The coverage is second to none, without being heavy, sticky, or opaque looking. It took a couple tries to learn how to apply it. I'm used to dotting trouble areas over my entire face with a concealer, then using a small brush to blend and smooth. While this concealer applies and blends very smoothly, it seems to self-set rather quickly in drier climates, so you may need to apply and blend smaller areas at a time. One eye, then the other, etc. Once it's set though, it isn't going anywhere. Staying power. My ultimate test was to wear it to bed. I kid you not, it was still in place in the morning. No sign of settling into lines or pores. I plan to test this for several more weeks then give an update. So far I'm very impressed, but it's a shame the fairest shade (Pink Porcelain 1?) is still far too warm and dark for truly fair neutral or cool skintones. By contrast, NYX porcelain and fair concealers are a couple shades lighter/cooler and look perfect on my skin, though they aren't nearly as high quality as MUFE.This is an update to my original review from a few months ago. I've now learned how to properly apply the MUFE concealer by immediately blending areas as they're applied. It took a couple weeks before I realized I only needed to squeeze out a teensie dab to conceal all the trouble areas of my face. There's so much coverage in this concealer, you only need the tiniest amount in your brush. I've also found it blends and covers so well that it has cut my morning routine in half as I no longer need foundation for everyday, just a light powder to even things out and set this concealer for ALL DAY wear. This is by far the best concealer I've ever used. I hope they never change or discontinue this product. It's well worth every penny and then some. I would like to see a slightly lighter/pinker shade than Pink Porcelain for the very fairest of us during winter months, but I'm so pleased with the quality of this product I'm not going to complain.

My 12 year old fashionista daughter just started to have her first breakouts and was looking for a concealer to wear to school on the odd occasion when it was needed. We bought a couple of other brands only to find that that while they may be a reasonable skin tone match in the store, they don't work in all circumstances. Some concealers are too sheer and don't cover well enough if one has a red hued pimple. Others were thick enough to cover but then look cakey, or exacerbate the lump of the acne because they are so heavy. Still others would match in the shade but not in the sun or vice versa. I was getting frustrated buying concealer after concealer that was "matched" to her skin tone in the store. Finaly a nice sales girl in Sephora gave us take home samples of every concealer we liked and hadn't tried. That allowed my daughter to try them all in different lighting, different weather conditions, and for different kinds of pimples. The Makeup Forever won hands down. When she has it on, her complexion is perfectly consistent in color. There may be a slight raised bump where the pimple is but the color is perfect, so it seems like the pimple really isn't there. My daughter is thrilled with it, and I'm thrilled that I'm done buying other brands. I have an old MAC concealer that I've been nursing for years and when that finally goes, I'll convert to Makeup Forever as well. For the record, my daughter has a slight olive complexion so she wears the 7 color. I expect we will buy a different color to match her darker skin tone in summer.

Make Up Forever Concealer is a great buy. I noticed that when I used it I did not find any transfer onto a drinking cup or my telephone or anything else which is a big pet peeve of mine when it comes to foundations. I know this is concealer, but let's be real, I used it like I would use a foundation because I didn't see the need to put it on then put on a foundation that would not have been as good as the concealer. I'm a very fair girl and my skin can get kind of red sometimes so I purchased the #4 color called Flesh. This color is very nice and I think possibly I could have gone to number 5 (vanilla something). I'm guessing the colors run pretty light, rather than on the dark end of the spectrum because with most foundations I'm usually buying the first or second one they have. No signs of irritation or allergy. No smell from product which is great. I don't feel greasy which is hard for me with many makeups. It seemed to last all day and believe me in this awful humidity, that is a bonus. I like the packaging of a tube with a small opening rather than a big messy bottle. The concealer covered by red marks and some pimples that I just noticed (geez, I'm too old for pimples, probably that darn humidity). If you like, it is suggested on the tube to buy the Make Up Forever Matte powder which I'm going to try also. If you want a foundation, try Make Up Forever Matte + Velvet, I have this too and it is really a good makeup for oil control.
