I normally don’t write reviews, but I feel like I owe this one.I travel 8-9 months out of the year for work all across the country and these make their way into my suitcase every trip. I’m a self proclaimed bourbon snob and on off days I go bourbon hunting. I was looking for a way to safely transport some rare/expensive bottles of bourbon home and stumbled across these.I’ve brought hope 30+ bottles in these bags with absolutely no issues. They are padded well and hold up over repeated use.If I had to make one complaint, and it’s not so much on the bags as it is the oddly shaped bourbon bottles, some of them can be kind of difficult to fit. (I’m looking at you Blanton’s). It will fit with some convincing, but I end up cutting out the bottle when I get home.If your on the fence about these, just buy them! They work wonders!

So we have been traveling over seas for a decade and always bring back 12-20 bottles of wine/booze/olive oil. We have tried every system you can imagine: Stuffing bottles in socks, wrapping them clothes, the pump inflating style, and this style.We bought several different brands that all use the exact same type meachanism: hard outer shell/bubble wrap/zip & velcro closure.This hands down was the best. The hard outer shell is soft so it conforms to your luggage (in our case backpack luggage). The interior has bubble wrap BUT each one comes with a spare bubble wrap sleeve. All the other brands have a stiff outershell and do not come with a spare bubble wrap sleeve.Transported ~20 bottles through 3 different countries until we got back to the USA. One bottle had leaked about 1/4 of it contents, everything stayed self contained. 5 star. Dont look anywhere else.

I have purchased these twice, and will probably buy them again. Despite the fact they do fail. Usually after 2 or 3 uses they begin to split at the seams. I just had one fail at first use (see picture) just above the velcro. I have put as many as six bottles of whiskey in checked luggage and they arrived safe.

just got back from an European trip to Mosel and Alsace wine area.... these bags worked perfectly to transport the wine purchased back to the States. We were able to bring back 12 bottles with no damage (note we had hard shell suitcases and (1) did appear to be squished. So not sure if having hard shell suitcase helps in the transit too)

I put a bottle of wine into the bag, Sealed the two Ziplock seals, folded the bottom and sealed the Velcro.I thought great! I then started to open the Velcro and the bag, at the seal tore open. I was not using any excessive force, just pealing open the Velcro. This bag is JUNK.

Great protection for your bottles whether you're flying or on the road. I like to bring a couple when bourbon hunting or going to wine country. Nice to have a little added protection should you hit that pot hole.

Other like products are hard to open-this one is not

Worked perfectly for our trip to California. Several bottles of wine made it home safe in our checked luggage. Would purchase again.
